  1. Yup. He was admiring his hit. Not hustling.
  2. Turnabout is fair play. Same thing happened with Ortiz and Pedroia
  3. Looks like six runs are not going to be enough. This is becoming another pathetic pitching performance. Bellhorn was right: six runs should win the game.
  4. Sure coulda used those guys we stranded at second and third with no one out now.
  5. Pedroia should be running here. They aren't even looking at him
  6. What's pessimistic? We are still in control of this game. Call it greed instead. And bad baseball.
  7. Try this link to watch the game, courtesy of Station13: http://www.vipbox.tv/watch/57571/1/m...am-online.html
  8. Eight is better. We had runners on second and third with no one out and failed to score either runner. Thats bad baseball.
  9. If we lose this game, that was the moment we lost it.
  10. Come on guys..runners on second and third and we can't score?
  11. Orioles and Yankees behind; Rays lost already.
  12. ALL RIGHT ROSS! Couple more runs coming up. Cooke is starting tomorrow? Jeesh....
  13. Some of those guys are hardly athletic. The NHL is the league where guys play with injuries all the time.
  14. Only run scored because of sloppy defense. So far another good outing by Morales.
  15. Has he been hurt for five years? If he wasn't hurt his slump would not be an issue.
  16. Lets see how he does over the next few weeks, eh? One night with three hits does not mean anything at all. He has hurt this team for weeks.
  17. As long as he has control of his pitches he can dominate. Thats been his problem in the past-control
  18. This is what Youkilis said about not being in the lineup: "I'm a paid employee here," Youkilis said. "When you're a paid employee and your boss tells you to do something, you do it. Until they tell me something, I'm here to play for the Red Sox." Kudos to Kevin Youkilis for having a good attitude about reporting lines in any organization.
  19. I can't watch this freaking game because MLB.COM blacked me out...SOBs
  20. I don't have any problem with allowing Bard a chance to start. Both Bard and the FO thought it was the best thing for the team, and its what Bard wanted to do anyway. So far so good. The problem I have with the way it went down is how long it took for them to realize that it wasn't working. He lost velocity and his K/BB was horrible. It became clear early on that he was not going to be anything more than a back of the rotation SP, and we already had many of those. They should have moved him back to the pen much sooner-especially after Bailey went down-so that he wasn't ruined as a ML pitcher. I have my doubts that he can regain his previous dominating form.
