Its been over for some time now. All of it.

Lester is sure showing everyone what he is made of today. Quite a season.

Do you remember that episode of Manny being Manny? They were playing the Yankees and Manny refused to play (the real reason was contract issues: he was afraid the team would exercise its option for the upcoming year and he wanted to become a FA) saying his knee hurt. So the Sox ordered an MRI and when they asked Ramirez which knee hurt, he couldn't remember. So they MRI'd BOTH knees. Despite it being an incredibly selfish move, I still laughed my ass off.

Its a sign of the kind of clubhouse problems this team has. They are a very soft team with no sense of commitment to the team concept. Its really unimaginable.

I sure hope it doesn't turn out that he left the game because of a cold. That would almost be like Manny refusing to play because of his knee hurt, though when asked he couldn't remember which one.

Here is the rest of it. He injured his knee during the regular season. Also, football players play all the time with broken bones and other assorted maladies. Can you seriously imagine a football player being out because of a cold? It's the same knee Mankins injured late in the regular season against the Dolphins forcing him to miss Week 17. The original injury occurred after his knee collided with a helmet.

He is a legend period. He was great in his time, which has passed. He is also a class act. All that does not make him an all star this year.

Thats just wrong. Imaging Kobe sitting a game out because he has a cold, or Lucic not playing because his nose is stuffy. Same thing. Athletes play in games their team needs them. Gonzalez can rest tomorrow-if a cold is why he is out.

I honestly think that when Crawford does come back he is going to produce. Might not be this year, but he busts his ass to keep in shape and is a very very good athlete. These injuries are not his fault. I don't hold him accountable for them. Still, its fun to make jokes about it.

If Crawford need TJ surgery he should get it done now. What is the point of waiting?

He has done the job offensively this year. But his defensive range is terrible nowadays. Cabrera, Andrus, and Escobar are all better offensively too. He should not be an all star this year.

HAHAHA This team is totally pathetic. Another two runs in the first inning. Lester is showing us what he is made of tonite, thats for sure.
