  1. Did not expect that. Leadoff walks suck.
  2. Leadoff walk. Runs are certainly on the way.
  3. Doubront has lost it.
  4. Gonna take at least 7 runs Brennan. And we aren't getting them.
  5. f*** Gonzalez. What a disappointment he is.
  6. Bingo. Now we need to score some runs.
  7. The Rays are about to put this game away.
  8. Doubront is falling apart...more runs are on the way.
  9. Why is it that even though we are ahead it seems like we are losing?
  10. Looks like the 7 run rule is in effect tonite
  11. Not bad, actually. The Rays are fifth in OPS in the AL.
  12. That was his second in a row. Maybe he can keep it going.(?)
  13. Its pretty hard to believe that MLB allows that kind of rinky-dink stadium to be used. Some catwalks are in play; some are not. Just a joke of a stadium.
  14. That was the HR Gonzalez promised.
  15. We needed more in that situation
  16. Rhymes said it was the first time he has passed out. Guess Rhymes is actually a teenage girl. Seriously, I am glad it was nothing serious. Just a temporary low blood pressure thing. It could have been some fluke heart issue that had nothing to do with him being hit. I remember once playing a pickup game of football and some kid went out for a pass and never came back: he fell to the ground dead with a heart arrhythmia. Good for Rhymes; now lets beat the snot out of the Rays today.
  17. ORS, I don't mean to be rude, but what business are you in? I have been a medical doctor for 35 years including lots of time spent in the ICU and the ER. I am telling you what shock really is, and you are offering me a layman's nonsense.I am quite sure that in whatever field you are in, I am the layman. The ulna and the radius (the bones in the forearm) are not "large bones". The humerus, maybe; the femur in the leg, certainly. I am not saying that its impossible that that guy somehow lacerated an artery leading to hypovolemic shock, but the chances of that are close to nil. Look, if you don't believe me, why don't you ask Jacko what a person in real "shock" looks like. Its life threatening and it requires aggressive treatment, unlike someone who faints, which occurs all the time. I will make a deal with you: you don't tell me what medical terms mean, and I won't try to tell you your profession. This discussion is over.
  18. Its not all bad: we only surrendered two runs. No runs the day before; and one run the day before that. We will win a lot of games if we keep pitching this way.
