  1. I think that Kalish should be optioned back to AAA. He needs the reps, and he is not likely to get them with the ML club. So I would rather see Sweeney kept for now. Lillibridge and Punto are in the same category: both suck and do not belong on our roster.
  2. And Tazawa has already contributed at a ML level. There is just no room for him right now.
  3. IF Bard makes it back, it likely won't be this year. He is so screwed up by the changes in his delivery and the mental softness he has to have much hope of helping the club this year. It will take him all offseason to figure it out, if he ever figures it out again. Even odds he is washed up permanently in terms of reaching where he once was.
  4. Nope. Being a DH really dooms his chances.
  5. http://i673.photobucket.com/albums/vv94/mechetesaint/swami.jpg FORSYTHE
  6. Turns out five is JUST enough....... What a game by Cook. I did not see that coming at all. BTW: anyone following the Giants? They had four consecutive shutouts by their SP. Pretty amazing.
  7. Are there ANY DHs in the HOF?
  8. WOW...spectacular DP. Game over.
  9. Cook gets out of this inning with no runs surrendered and this game is OVAH.
  10. Everybody owns him. He is back under .270 and OPS at .731. What a deal for $20M, eh? Woulda saved money and extended JD Drew for that money.
  11. Actually, the Red Sox are not a great HR hitting club this year. They rank sixth. They rank second in BA and OBP. Theoretically they should be able to handle a park like this. Lots of hard hit ball, but nothing to show for it. Right at people or dying in the OF.
  12. Gotta admit that this game time is not good for me at all..too much going on here in the evening. Cook doing well....can we PLEASE get some runs?
  13. What's Noesi's BABIP for tonite? Pretty low, eh? That means he ought to revert to the norm and we should get the 6-7 runs we need to have a chance to win. Lets see how that works out.
  14. I think we will score a couple (2) of runs
  15. Seems like there is plenty of empty seats for anyone who wants to catch the games up there. And Seattle is not a bad city.....if it would just stop raining.
  16. 13 pitches and six outs for Cook. Lets all bend over and give credit to Theo for acquiring this budding ace.
  17. 14-7 in NY. TOOOOOOOOOOO BAAAAAAAAAAAD
  18. Did you forget a decimal point?
  19. 13-7 Pale Hose now. Yankees have real SP problems now
  20. Q:What is 5.08, 6.03 and 9.39? A: Aaron Cook's ERAs for the last three seasons
  21. Yup. Six or seven. Not because of the Mariners offense (they ARE a professional club) but because Cooke stinks badly.
  22. Sure would be nice to get a few runs early. With Cooke out there we are going to need about 6-7 runs to hope to win this
