In fact, its unlikely to be any one reason alone at all. For me the bottom line is that JBJ has to meet some sort of floor below which no amount of defense will justify his insipid presence in the lineup. His current line of .435/24 for OPS and OPS+ is well below what is acceptable. In the unlikely event that in June his numbers are like that I would be looking for an alternative, especially if the rest of the team is struggling offensively like last year. I think that if the rest of the team is doing OK I can live with an OPS of .680 or so. Much below that=REPLACEMENT!
