  1. Orioles and Yankees behind; Rays lost already.
  2. ALL RIGHT ROSS! Couple more runs coming up. Cooke is starting tomorrow? Jeesh....
  3. Some of those guys are hardly athletic. The NHL is the league where guys play with injuries all the time.
  4. Only run scored because of sloppy defense. So far another good outing by Morales.
  5. Has he been hurt for five years? If he wasn't hurt his slump would not be an issue.
  6. Lets see how he does over the next few weeks, eh? One night with three hits does not mean anything at all. He has hurt this team for weeks.
  7. As long as he has control of his pitches he can dominate. Thats been his problem in the past-control
  8. This is what Youkilis said about not being in the lineup: "I'm a paid employee here," Youkilis said. "When you're a paid employee and your boss tells you to do something, you do it. Until they tell me something, I'm here to play for the Red Sox." Kudos to Kevin Youkilis for having a good attitude about reporting lines in any organization.
  9. I can't watch this freaking game because MLB.COM blacked me out...SOBs
  10. I don't have any problem with allowing Bard a chance to start. Both Bard and the FO thought it was the best thing for the team, and its what Bard wanted to do anyway. So far so good. The problem I have with the way it went down is how long it took for them to realize that it wasn't working. He lost velocity and his K/BB was horrible. It became clear early on that he was not going to be anything more than a back of the rotation SP, and we already had many of those. They should have moved him back to the pen much sooner-especially after Bailey went down-so that he wasn't ruined as a ML pitcher. I have my doubts that he can regain his previous dominating form.
  11. He has sucked all year and sucked in the minors when they sent him down too. No excuses for this one.
  12. Unbelievable. We should have won that game given the pitching matchup.
  13. ERA for this game: 3.60 Not bad, but ugly to watch
  14. Jair Jurggens stats this year: ERA: 9.37 WHIP: 2.449 Sent down to AAA (where he had an ERA of 5.14) because he stinks as a ML pitcher this year. Gonzalez had a good year last year too. How much does that matter to you this year?
  15. Eight hits is not luck
  16. 8 hits now surrendered by Lester. He has not had a good year at all. Cannot be trusted.
  17. This is ridiculous. Jerggens stinks. We should have at least 4-5 runs already and not depend on Lester to toss a shutout.
  18. Hell no. Jurggens stinks. We will score some runs tonite. But Lester has to hold the Braves down now.
