  1. Refsnider is hitting .163...and he walked him. This game is not nearly over. One more run was needed
  2. Not really liking this crap
  3. No need for this drama Craig.....s***.
  4. I would have liked one more run.....at least
  5. Moreland better come in here
  6. Stanek is the new Daniel Bard
  7. It wasn't this post I thought was homophobic...it was the last one I complained about that you wrote. This one is just inappropriate. I don't think many of us are interested in your opinion of the size of a player's junk.
  8. He does...but I also feel free to express what I think of some of that stuff.
  9. If this guy reaches I pull Sale.
  10. Some of his posts are homophobic slurs, it seems to me, bordering on bigoted. Those are not funny, except to Natick it seems.
  11. Someone needs to be up in the pen
  12. WTF is wrong with you? You think thats funny somehow? Its not. Grow up.
  13. Thats why Betts should have been running
  14. Why isn't Betts running here??
  15. Since the start of last season Leon leads all catchers in catcher ERA. Defensively, he is not bad. But with a bat in his hands, he is nearly useless.
  16. We will need two more runs at least to win this game.
  17. Nice to see that other teams can be brain dead on the basepaths too
  18. Bad guy to have up here
  19. Here comes Mr Offense!
  20. Pedroia had microfracture surgery on his knee. After that procedure nearly NO ONE is fine, at least not for long. No need to rush him back....gotta be aware of the number of games he can play now for the rest of his career.
  21. Its possible that his presence caused us to lose games would would have won had a better hitter been in the lineup-because the factors such as the quality of the opposing pitcher or team may have been less competitive when he was in the lineup than when he wasn't. Many other factors could also play a role. Who on the Sox was resting when he played, for example. Unless you correct for the variables its impossible to know the impact of playing him. I do know this: he is a disaster with a bat in his hands and its likely his presence has cost us runs, if not games.
  22. Its irrelevant because that record is impacted by many other factors besides him being in the lineup. If we played the same team with the same SPs with the same lineups for each team you have then controlled for many more variables. Of course, that never happens, which makes using our record with him in the lineup NEARLY irrelevant.
  23. That is incorrect. Past performance is a far better indicator of what a player will do in the future than some made up projection. How are his projections working out for you now? Its no longer a small sample size-this started at the end of August last year. It encompasses about 250 PAs between last Sept and this year, and his OPS is remarkably similar last year (.517) as this year. Its not a small sample size any more. Its not huge, but its significant. Furthermore, if you are watching him at the plate its very clear that he is lost up there. He cannot even hit fastballs thrown right down broadway. He has lost the ability to hit....it happens. He needs to be demoted until he can find an acceptable level of performance, if that ever happens.
  24. Bradley isn’t quite buying all the criticism. He feels like his swing is “very similar if not the same as in the past,” and thus “there’s nothing saying that it can’t work.” This says it can't work: .165/.519/41
  25. He isn't a particularly coachable player.....he should be able to work out his swing on his own....in Pawtucket or Lowell.
