    If we win tonight we will be on a pace to win just 88 games, an unbelievable 20 GAMES fewer than last year and likely not enough to make the playoffs. Sleepwalking isn't going to get it done. Mistakes like those made by Bogaerts tonight and the ones Vasquez makes behind the plate are not going to get it done.

    This is exactly the situation that the Sox have failed in this year

    This team plays up to every opponent because they are lower on the ladder than almost every team. These guys are still sleepwalking. Just hard to watch them.

    Actually.....the Sox are not one of the best teams in the AL. They are exactly as good as their record says they are. I think they are one of the most talented teams in the AL, but so far they have clearly not played up to their potential.

    I agree. I have watched some very bad plays by Vas..passed balls mostly. Bad throws to 2B trying to get guys trying to steal. Offensively he has done well, but his defense is really questionable. I would send him down along with Benintendi to try to wake these guys up out of their torpor. Because the way it is right now....they are not making the playoffs. Cora needs to make a statement to the team, like he did by removing Brewer with the count 3-2.

    Vasquez's act is getting old....very very old. I would send him down and bring up some stiff from AA ball. Phantom injury maybe. I would also send down Benintendi. I don't care who comes up.

    I think he is pissed that Brewer went from 0-2 to 3-2 and allowed a SB. Its about time he publicly embarrassed some of these guys.

    Cora is pissed about something out there. Its about time he started punishing the guys who are sleepwalking out there.

    They really need to blow up this team. We should be sellers at the deadline...try to get some decent prospects and look for another run in 3-4 years.

    Cora has consistently been one batter too late this year in removing his SP.

    As of right now we are behind both the Guardians (2 games) and the Rangers (1 game) for the final playoff spot. With the talent this team has (108 wins last year) its really embarrassing.
