Trading Betts to the Dodgers gave them the opportunity to extend him before he reached free agency, and took that same opportunity away from us. You can't leave that out of the equation.

I don't know if trading Mookie was the right move by the organization, but Bloom did as good a job on the trade as you could possibly ask.

I do one have one question - Rios. Not sure what made anyone think this guy could help. I can't find one good thing in his numbers, and I tried.

Santana is a bench guy and rightfully so. Our A team right now has Verdugo, Kike and Renfroe in the outfield and Arroyo at second. The only way Duran can come up and play every day is by replacing Kike, and Kike has a 2.0 bWAR.

And in the playoffs, for some reason, they fold up like a cheap tent. Haven't been to a World Series since 1990. Not jealous.

Houck is pitching for Worcester today. He's been pitching very solidly there. 20 K's vs. 1 walk! We should be seeing him again soon.

Nobody is crazy enough to try predicting scores of MLB games, though.
