Last night Cora let Wacha face Trout, the best in the game, a third time. It was Ohtani he didn't want Wacha to face, because he's a LH power hitter and he was the tying run. Sometimes we get fixated on certain things and overlook the specific situation in the game.

That's the whole point of my question, yes. Renfroe was as good as Beni or better last year, so we didn't miss Beni.

My argument is in the reply I posted to Jackson. It was a game situation call. Cora didn't want Wacha to face Ohtani there. Cora was treating this as a virtual must-win.
