  1. When acquiring free agent pitchers, Bloom seems to look for the less obvious guys. It seems to have worked well with Wacha and Hill, but not so much with relievers.
  2. Cora has to start boosting the pitch counts for starters, no question.
  3. Hill has had a pretty damn good late career.
  4. His joke was more evil than you gave credit for.
  5. This is the Hill you're willing to die on.
  6. I agree with Nick that Whitlock should be starting. You always want your best pitcher starting. That's pretty old school, isn't it?
  7. I think we'll find out very soon.
  8. 100%. They do have to watch his innings, though.
  9. moon agonizes over stuff much more than the average fan. I just go with the belief that Cora and Bloom have pored over the data and in general make good decisions, much better than I would, so I have no need to second-guess them on in-game strategy.
  10. So true. Last night it was Cordero and Bradley.
  11. Great job by Bloom adding 2 years of team control over him.
  12. In the Yankees-Jays game, each team has a perfect mobster name in the lineup. The Yanks have Joey Gallo and the Jays have Vinny Capra.
  13. And here we are again, this time top of the order up.
  14. Not under this name you haven't, that much is true. You were Billy Williams last time you were here.
  15. What's up Babe? It's been a while since your last banning.
  16. Nope, the truth is that Eovaldi seems very healthy.
  17. That's pretty picky. It was just about him being healthy.
  18. Northcut is a beauty name for a home run hitter...
  19. And a strong game for Seabold. Bloom looking smart again.
  20. Last night Cora let Wacha face Trout, the best in the game, a third time. It was Ohtani he didn't want Wacha to face, because he's a LH power hitter and he was the tying run. Sometimes we get fixated on certain things and overlook the specific situation in the game.
  21. He's been healthy since July 2019. What do you want?
