    Andrus is looking better and better. His price is probably going up though!

    He was 46-24 in 4 years for us, yes, with a 3.84 ERA. He was also making 31 million a year. He opted out of 2020 and pitched very little in 2021 and 2022. He wouldn't have been much help if we kept him.

    We can assume whatever we want. But it's obvious the Sox had to trade Mookie. That was getting done one way or the other. I think mvp is right that getting them to take Price simply lessened the return.

    You'd think so, but for whatever reason he seems to be the guy who gets left hanging around. That's what happened last year, anyway.

    In theory this makes it more likely they keep Devers. 1) They have more money. 2) San Diego doesn't need a third baseman.

    Why didn't they spend some money on pitching instead? They could have had deGrom and Verlander for about the same money.

    So the Yankees original offer to Judge was 213.5 million. They signed him for 360 million. A delta of 146.5 million. Crazy times we live in, folks...

    Walker's deal was kind of a Dombrowski Special. Taillon's seems more in line with current reality.
