Sure he did, and nobody says they aren't. I have always thought that Henry considers himself a smart baseball guy and wants his team to win. I refuse to believe he's happy right now with the state of the team. We all saw what happened to Cherington.

Devers was part of the 2022 team too. I guess we should have been pissed when they extended him.

That's a fair question, but an equally fair question is whether he wants to keep finishing under .500 and getting booed whenever he appears in public. I think he expected Bloom to trim payroll and win, not just the former.

His last start in 2022 was on May 8. He was the closer before injury ended his season. I don't know if Bloom had any clear plan for him at all. His struggles second time through the order are well documented and not going away. This team is a circus.

I firmly believe this team has a strong chance to end up with a worse record than last year's 78-84. Can Bloom possibly survive that?
