    I think we should be a little worried about Grissom's defense, at least, and the fact his Spring Training will be in real games. Mind you I can understand not worrying when it's more than likely all tryouts and experimentation this year anyway.

    Of course they didn't know. My main argument is that his finish was a monster red flag one way or the other. It was another dumpster dive type signing. If he did pitch well in 2023 he would have opted out anyway. It's just more of the same disgusting, losing approach.

    Pretty simple. My theory was that Giolito may have been pitching hurt the last 2 months of 2023 which resulted in his horrific numbers. Then we got into the comparison with Sale.

    To repeat what I said in another thread: This is all Henry's fault, actually. His penny-pinching keeps forcing his CBO's into making moves for damaged or inferior goods like this.
