  1. It's been a different story for Youkilis.
  2. That's correct. http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/TOR/TOR201206030.shtml
  3. I have to agree, Dojji. Nava's got a 2.0 WAR in 30 games, Crawdads had a 0.0 WAR in 2011, anyone can see that Nava is helping us win games, and a lot of people are going 'Sell high! Sell high!'. I think these message boards really bring out the armchair GM in all of us, me included. Sometimes the overthink is pretty funny.
  4. Sure, obviously Crawford gets his starting job back. My only position on Nava is, don't trade him.
  5. Hard to say whether Hughes is ruined. He's had 6 quality starts since May 6. There are a lot of similarities, though...the Yankees and Sox decided there was more potential value in these guys as starters than as set-up men, even though they had a lot of success as set-up men.
  6. There's no freakin' way they let go of Nava now. Valentine would go medieval.
  7. I'm pretty neutral because I don't really have a team. I have to say LeBron was pretty amazing this postseason especially starting with Game 6 against the Celtics.
  8. Nava has an OBP of .477 in the leadoff spot. That's pretty respectable.
  9. The Tigers could have been extremely interested in a one-year deal when VMart went down. That's an example of unforeseen s*** coming along to change everything. All you need is one team out there.
  10. In each of the two starts before the debacle, Bard gave up 2 runs in 5.1 innings. When Doubront has starts with those numbers, everyone thinks he did just fine. The expectations for Bard as a starter were too high to begin with.
  11. FO didn't screw him up. This was what he wanted. They gave him the opportunity to be closer but he wanted to start. This is all on Daniel. Also I predict you're wrong, he'll be back in the bigs this year.
  12. Apparently they're sending the Peralta pine tar sample to NY for lab analysis...Remy was having a good yuk about this last night.
  13. Ellsbury is a goner...that is one of the safer assumptions on player movement you could possibly make about this team.
  14. K's and BB's look a little better at least...
  15. Nava up-to-the-minute...333/449/520...that's sick!
