    Not a great matchup, but even if we lose, we're .5 games back with a bunch of winnable series coming up. Winning these last 2 games was huge.

    Still, my favorite bad contract these days is BJ Upton's 75 million. Poor ol' BJ is hitting 177/266/300. And for bonus points he's dragging his brother Justin down with him.

    I said it at the time, worst contract in history, even worse than A-Rod's last one. Especially since they had A-Rod's contract sitting right in front of them. Then they follow it up by handing $125 million to Hamilton.

    Tropic Thunder is undoubtedly one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Nick Nolte and Tom Cruise are also both hysterical.

    We do have a lot of internal possibilities though...Britton has looked pretty good...Workman, Contreras...who really knows if these guys can't do just as well as an expensive rental?

    We've run into some very good starters. The way the Rays shut us down probably carried over into last night's game. We've still got a very good offence. I think Drew's days in the everyday lineup are just about over. Pitching is the real need.

    We'll always be wondering about PED's now whenever somebody exceeds expectations.

    Of course. Lester & Lackey are both demonstrative, and it probably does affect them negatively at times. I'm sure they're aware of it and I'm sure their coaches have talked to them about it many times. But it's part of their personalities I guess.

    Iggy belongs in the lineup as everyday SS. I think we're going to see Bogaerts or WMB playing third. WMB might get traded of course.
