    Vic staying healthy in 2015 is pure fantasy. Even in 2013 he only started 117 regular season games and also missed a couple in the postseason. Now he's 2 years older coming off surgery.

    Don't get me wrong, I'm a big Napoli fan. Just pointing out one possible avenue for Craig - also of course a way to make some payroll room for 2016.

    Nava isn't getting DFA'd. Castillo starts in AAA. That's my prediction at least. They would trade Nava rather than DFA him anyway.

    Well, you did say "Buchholz is trying to show everyone he can be an ace, and he's showing the opposite", although he has a 1.80 ERA, a 1.1 WHIP and a 6-1 K/BB.

    It's pretty simple now, I think. Either Castillo starts in AAA or Vic is DL'd or traded.

    Betts has looked great, but I'm not sure 'murdering Castillo' is accurate, since Castillo was hurt and is now 3 for 4 with a home run since he started playing.

    They will not trade Betts, I'm quite sure. Making a trade like that will always raise the question, why didn't you just sign a free agent pitcher when you had the chance?

    Cole Hamels has a 9.00 ERA and a 1.86 WHIP this spring.

    One thing I read was that the movement on his pitches has all been side to side and not down. The implication was that if it stays that way he will suck donkey balls.

    LOL I like it. Forget projections and advanced metrics, the deciding factor for the 2015 Red Sox is whether the rotation sucks donkey balls or not.

    Buchholz hasn't been that bad at all, according to the numbers.

    One thing I'm pretty confident of is that the Sox FO will not sit on their hands if the rotation gets off to a really bad start.
