    Price actually pitched great his first few starts after the incident. That was back before the intrepid Mr. Shaughnessy elevated it to firestorm status.

    Nobody controls the media. Belichick couldn't do a thing to stop Spygate or Deflategate. The Pats do have a great solution to these things, though-keep winning and collecting Super Bowl rings.

    Terry Francona usually said a bunch of nothing to the press too, so I don't see that as a real issue. Jimy Williams really had it down. The media would ask Jimy all these penetrating questions about plans and strategies to which Jimy would usually respond: 'We'll go play.'

    I'm about halfway between you and moon on this one. I don't think Price is a choking dog who is guaranteed to suck if we make the playoffs. But his playoff record is a big concern to me. For one thing, if we make it there you know there will be a million stories to the tune of 'Will Price Choke Again?'. It's a form of negative baggage.
