    I'm quite sure they don't want to use Pomeranz at all. They might use him for a LOOGY situation. Why is he there? Because Wright isn't healthy and the only other option was Workman who has also been awful lately. If they brought in Pom instead of Eovaldi last night's game would have been over a lot quicker, that's for sure. If Kinsler makes that play we're up 3-0.

    I hear what you're saying. I think there's a time to go all-in, and a time to play the long game. Tonight Cora should play the long game. And hopefully the bats show up and win the game for us.

    Maybe if Sale has been looking like prime Sale. But he hasn't. Right now our ideal Game 7 pitcher looks like Nathan Eovaldi.

    Agreed. There's no need to treat Game 4 as a must-win. After Game 4 our pitching is lined up fairly well again.

    I don't like starting Sale tonight. As is stands, even if we were to lose Game 4, we'd have Sale for Game 5, Price for Game 6, Porcello or Eovaldi for Game 7.

    E-Rod plus bullpen is it, I would wager.

    It makes perfect sense to have JD in left, with Porcello on the mound and the Dodgers loaded up with lefty hitters. This way you have JBJ and Mook in their natural positions and it makes for the best outfield configuration.

    How's he doing against lefty starters this postseason? Happ 2 for 2 !!! Sabathia 0 for 1 with a HBP Keuchel 1 for 3 Kershaw 3 for 3 !!! Ryu 0 for 2 with a walk Total 6 for 11 plus a HBP and a walk - against some of the best. I'd say he's doing just fine!
