  1. Well then yo' cousin crazy.
  2. This is a great idea. Specially now that his price has dropped.
  3. For the record, Mazz is about as objective as the debaters in a Republicans versus Democrats forum.
  4. Please God, no.
  5. Wandy's a worst bet to perform than Oswalt even with his bad back. Homer-prone lefty with average stuff and prone to giving up BB's and hits coming to Fenway? Disaster.
  6. It's a bad contract for a bad contract plus money and a prospect. They'd be better off keeping Soriano for three years or waiting to dump him and his whole salary on someone, or wait for someone who, you know, gives them a prospect if they throw money in.
  7. The Rangers are seven-deep in starters with Martin Perez nearing his MLB debut. I doubt they invest in Oswalt.
  8. My head hurts.
  9. Why would the Cubs, who are rebuilding, take on a bad contract swap and kick in money and a prospect? That's as unrealistic as it gets.
  10. Yeah Fielder should definitely low-carb it. Or low-everything it maybe.
  11. This is an excellent post.A lot of Red Sox "fans" do nothing but attempt to belittle the team at every possible opportunity. Then hide their negativity behind the veil of "realism". Realism is objectivity, not negativity. Different things. However, i would argue that winning a championship and making money go hand in hand, so they are both part of the primary objective.
  12. Do it do it do it do it do it.
  13. He's a potential 20-20 guy with good OBP and good D. That's pretty good if ya ask me.
  14. Well that's all you can do on a message board. The one thing that isn't speculation is that Prince Fielder is fat and should low-carb it.
  15. Reading all the talk about Middlebrook is a good reminder of just how well positioned the Red Sox are for 2013.
  16. That is incorrect. They signed Martinez to DH.
  17. The Ross signing is official.
  18. And to answer this, the new CBA's rules regarding luxury tax are much more astringent than the current ones, but if the Red Sox manage to stay under the LT in 2012 and 2013 then they get their LT slate "wiped clean" meaning they can save a ton of money which then can be reallocated to other things.
