  1. Who said it wouldn't? A win is a win is a win. And this is funny coming from iortiz, who's the first to say "the team we won against sucks" when criticizing the Sox. Lol hypocrite much?
  2. Buchholz looking good. Then again, he's basically facing a AAA lineup....
  3. Not for me. It's just as bad, and it only happens while i'm logged in at home. I'm starting to wonder......
  4. Jackie Bradley Jr. is living proof that our lord and savior Jesus Christ was black.
  5. So.....Victorino doesn't suck?
  6. He's probably wiping his tears with hundred dollar bills.
  7. Best post in the thread.
  8. We get it, you like Nava.
  9. Dear Lord, stop triple posting.
  10. Yup. Ya can't cure stupid.....
  11. HOW DARE YOU USE LOGIC!
  12. Minor league numbers are irrelevant to major league production analysis. Again, very good OBP. "Monster" is pure hyperbole, especially for a platoon player.
  13. He had a .352 overall OBP in 2012, which falls into very good category. That's what we should be looking at, because recent Red Sox rosters have shown us that there is no such thing as a "platoon player" on this team. Circumstances always force those "platoon players" into full time gigs at some point in the season. Also, that .383 OBP against righties came in a SSS. Let's not kid ourselves here.
  14. Isn't the phrase "Monster OBP" a bit of an exercise in hyperbole?
  15. And how about that "the Red Sox haven't had a fast start since 2007" nonsense? The Sox had winning percentages of .593 and .636 in April for the 2008 and 2009 seasons. But again, facts don't matter around here.
  16. A jerk's propensity to whine?
  17. Palodios, you need to understand that the one disease modern medicine will never be able to cure is stupidity.
  18. It.Is.Spring.Training. These.Games.Mean.Nothing.
  19. Anyone who says Stephen Drew gets hurt all the time because he got beaned in the head and got a concussion is a retard.
  20. Your "impression" doesn't match reality. The White Sox were better statistically in every area of their offense last year than the Royals, and that is very unlikely to change this year. In the end, it's all about the possibility of the White Sox trading Sale, and that possibility is very very close to an absolute zero.
  21. Nope, he was arb-elegible two more years. They hadn't signed to any sort of long-term deal.
  22. And how would you sell that to White Sox brass? And your opinion seems to have a hint of bias in it. The White Sox outperformed the Royals last year in offense and SP by a large margin. While the SP gap may have closed and the Royals field a better BP, it's very hard for someone to stand there with a straight face and say that the Royals and Tigers are so much better than the White Sox that they should trade their young, cost-controlled ace in the making. Come on.
