  1. Goddamnit Gomes.
  2. Who doesn't? But like everything in life, it depends on the price.
  3. Yes, but the "ohpleaseohpleaseohpleaseohplease" is not necessary. It's built into everything you post about Lee.
  4. They're 5th in the AL in Fangraphs' updated rankings
  5. Why do you insist on making s*** up? The Sox rotation ERA has actually improved in both June and July after a sub-par May. Rotation ERA by month: April: 3.24 May: 4.15 June: 3.96 July: 3.76 They also currently rank third in the AL in rotation ERA, and fifth in overall ERA. This stuff takes thirty seconds to look up. Stop making s*** up.
  6. I read your post. I was affirming what you had already stated. And again, Crain is injured. We keep complaining about the Sox ending up with these "injured" or "injury prone" guys, yet whine when they don't go for 'em. Not saying you're doing it, but it seems to be a trend, at least in this website.
  7. We get it, you want Lee.
  8. It really isn't, because A) Crain is injured, B ) You don't know the quality of the PTBNL if Crain does prove healthy.
  9. What the hell are you talking about? WMB was demoted because he couldn't hit.
  10. It really hasn't been. The sox have simply been reluctant to turn guys that look like failed starters into relievers. There's a time period to salvage these guys' careers, and the FO hasn't done a good job identifying when to make the conversion.
  11. Also, for the umpteenth time, Crain is injured. The Rays are taking a gamble here the Sox had no need to take. One slight setback and they wasted their time.
  12. How many times has this happened?
  13. Oh s***, a rain delay......the baseball Gods smile upon us!
  14. Good observation. This is something other teams within the division have been doing extremely well but the Sox hadn't up until last year: Turn unsuccessful starters into quality relievers. It's the key to avoiding the bloating and unpredictable FA relief pitching marker.
  15. Sox need to dig deep so they can get Price out of the game in the 8th inning. I like their chances against Rodney.
  16. Had the Sox traded for Crain: "Why are they targeting an injured reliever?". SoxSport logic.
  17. Yeah, the guy who's on the shelf.
  18. Will it though? It's impossible to sustain a hot streak like this for much longer. It's the nature of baseball.
  19. Isn't that the norm?
  20. Doubront pitcherd 6.2 innings in his third and fourth starts of the season, and had four 6 IP starts in a row from his 8th to 11th start. I know he's frustrating, but let's stick to facts here.
  21. 40 pitches through 4. WOW.
  22. This does not look promising.
  23. Napoli bunting? LMAO
  24. Doubront has more IP than Price this season.
