    I really don't like moving Iglesias. I liked the kid a lot and I'm not high on Peavy at all. I guess you kind of have to do it though. Excited to see what Bogaerts will bring.

    iortiz, i'm not refusing to see anything. I am telling you they are not similar. By your logic, Justin Verlander and Felix Doubront are "similar" because their ERA's are close. Stop it.

    Who takes Dempster off your hands? Be realistic. Because of the options you present, you're much more likely to get something for Doubront instead of just giving away Dempster. I hope they trade no one though.

    Sugarcoat what? Peavy's frail, and i didn't want them to get him. I am just telling you that they are not similar pitchers. It's not rocket science. Peavy's better, but is never healthy. Dempster's healthy, but is not that good. Just because pitchers have similar ERA's doesn't make them similar pitchers. Stop it.

    They really aren't. When healthy (and that's a big when) Peavy is a #2 pitcher, but he's frail. Dempster is always healthy, but he's a middle of the rotation starter. Saying that two guys are the same because they have similar ERA's makes no sense.

    Dempster pitched in the NL for the last couple of years, and he's been healthy. Peavy's been pitching in the AL, and mostly injured. Not comparable.

    Why do you people keep comparing Peavy to Dempster? They are literally polar opposites. Peavy is effective but fragile. Dempster is inconsistent but durable.
