I didn't post my reasoning. A post can be well written with a point that makes very little sense, with your post being the poster boy for such an occurrence. You are saying that keeping a clearly unfair aspect of the game as it is instead of upgrading it and making it fair is bad for the game because it "brings down entertainment value". I'm sorry, that's just dumb bro. The point about having too many challenges may be somewhat valid, but that is only the proposed system, certain to be hashed out before being implemented, and it will probably mean more than two challenges, but it will depend on the situation.
Your ideas are quite simply logically unsound, no matter how well they are presented. I bet if the Sox lost the division by one game this season because of a clear mistake by a member of the umpiring crew that could have been amended with expanded replay, you would be singing a different tune, regardless of "challenge numbers".
