I said i am not the combination of all of those things. How do you know i don't need viagra from time to time?
Also, who in this site isn't a douche from time to time?
Yeah it was. And they keep making me look like a genius. I'm like Maddon living off the awesomeness of Andrew Friedman, except that i'm not old, a douche or a hipster and i don't need viagra.
For the record, he has done this exact same "two baserunners allowed every inning first 3 IP" then gone on to pitch eight and nine IP with less than 2 ER against the Sox this season.
The Sox being a vastly superior team to the Rockies in every aspect of the game might have had something to do with it. Also, Lester sure wasn't off with 7.2 IP of 2 ER, 7 K baseball.
There's no reading deficiency. You said Lester went "a little deeper than he usually does". He pitched 7.2 IP.
Lester pitched 7 IP or more in 17 of his 33 starts. Very few pitchers had more starts where they got into the 7th+ inning this season. That means your comment was either made without prior research (which is typical) which you are now annoyingly calling a reading deficiency on my part or you have unnaturally high expectations, which is why i made the question.
Fat Toad settled down, but Scherzer is not giving up an inch. Cespedes hit a triple with one out, and he proceeded to retire the next two batters (K, soft liner) like it was nothing.
