  2. You are contradicting your own point.
  3. Yeah all of those DL days, losing not one, but two closers, the absolute and total suck from WMB, third of a season of injury/ineffectiveness from Drew were certainly an indication of a "perfect season". Get real. Current standings are indicative of nothing, and the Red Sox are never the beasts of anything in your opinion because you are a biased annoyance who spent most of last season quiet with the Yankees out of contention and now wants to get his digs. I suggest you get all of them in now, because it's very likely the Sox end up a better team than the Yanks and their patchwork roster, and that's what scares you.
  4. Do you ever make a post that is based on objective logic and not a load of sensationalist nonsense? In love with last year's players? It's April 14th! Where do you come up with this drivel?
  5. This has NOTHING to do with ANYTHING. Pine-tar use is an accepted practice, as seen by the Buccholz situation last year, in which i did not see the whining about the league bending over for the Red Sox. You people are ridiculous.
  6. So what? This is a non-issue. No one cares about pine-tar for improving grip. Stop.
  7. Yeah those 160 games he played last year are a clear indication of his durability issues.
  8. He's big and muscular, but he's not unathletic or fat. He has a bad body type because being too muscular can also be detrimental to durability over the long term, not to mention the possibility of steroid use. But Pujols is (and has always been) about as athletic as a linebacker playing baseball (like Beltre) can be.
  9. Pujols had/has shoddy athleticism?
  10. No you don't wonder about their conditioning in ST. This is a stupid premise.
  11. Are you going to be getting over that anytime soon?
  12. It's common sense, bellhorn. You shouldn't have to explain your position.
  13. Jacko, as Yankees fans are prone to, lacks the area of the brain used to process fun/funny.
  14. I would dispute the notion that the Sox are "definitely worse" than last year. A lot of what this season ends up being rides on the development of some guys (WMB, JBJ, XB, Workman) whose performance none of us can accurately project.
  15. The Sox will hit, with or without speed. A 10-game stretch at the beginning of the season means nothing.
  16. I see reading comprehension is a problem for you. That's ok, it seems to be an epidemic amongst Yankees fans.
  17. Yeah i understand your pain Jacko. I understand your pain.
  18. You don't get to tell me to be quiet, mister wet blanket. We've been talking about CC's and Tex'a decline, Robert's injuries, et al for years now. Apples and oranges. I'm sorry if stating the obvious makes you all sad-sad Jacko. Look on the bright side, Tanaka will most likely not die of old age during the season, or suck, so you have that going for you!
  19. It's the fourth game of the season. Quiet.
  20. Well i like CC Sabathia along with a significant number of the Yankees' current players. Difference is, Mujica actually has a chance to be good. Can't say the same for some of the "characters" on the Yankees roster....
  21. Is that not enough for him to be considered a deity?
  22. This is pretty damn funny: http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/43324442/v31760357/david-ross-recreates-major-league
