  1. Why did they f*** with Porcello? Can someone answer that question? Also, Buehrle blows.
  2. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2015/06/al-east-notes-buchholz-donaldson-warren-norris.html The Donaldson part should get the armchair GM's to rest their case.
  3. The beautiful thing is that the FO itself insisted on f***ing with his repertoire. You reap what you sow.
  4. That's a nice problem to have.
  5. Chris Sale has 141 K's in 103.1 IP. Let that sink in for a minute.
  6. Interesting note: Alejandro De Aza is hitting .318/.357/.606 since joining the Red Sox with 10 XBH. I still don't understand what the whining was about when the Sox got him, as he's a notoriously streaky guy, and plays good D.
  7. Like I always say about the Red Sox, that's the mark of a bad team. That mental masturbation about the Yankees making the playoffs might not be very realistic.
  8. Apathy mojo guaranatees a victory tonight.
  9. Koji's right back to giving zero f***s.
  10. It's mojo. Don't mess with the mojo.
  11. I hate Donaldson so much.
  12. The future is definitely bright. I'm especially interested in monitoring the Swihart situation. If you ask me, that kid looks like the real deal. He's solid on D, and almost everything that comes off his bat is stung.
  13. Unfortunately, that is the true mark of a bad team.
  14. The Sox get dominated yesterday by that no-name Andriese scrub, then come back and hammer the crap out of arguably the league's best pitcher this year in Chris Archer. Ladies and gentlemen, your 2015 Boston Red Sox.
  15. They are both bogus, but you don't quite understand that winning is a team's accomplishment. It's even more useless because unlike QS it doesn't have defined parameters the pitcher can control. An SP can give up eight runs and walk away with a win (Hi Tim Wakefield).
  16. This argument is extremely weak. Stop.
  17. Spot on as usual SK, except for the Sandoval signing. The warning signs for the possibility of him blowing up (pun intended) were there.
  18. Thoracic outlet syndrome. And it was Bard who pressured the FO into letting him become a starter, and whether people want to believe it or not, players do have some leverage. An unhappy player is not likely to perform up to his abilities. Elktonnick, like many here however, will not let facts get in the way of a good argument. Also, the idea that Cherington built, on paper, the worst pitching staff in the Majors is laughable. That's not saying he didn't fail though. Lackey would certainly look good in this rotation. As for your assertion that the FO only wants to create the illusion of winning, I see two main flaws in that argument: 1) The more you win, the more money you make. 2) You are assuming that, because ownership is trying to make money, they have no emotional attachment to this team. I understand your stance, but I don't share it. No one wants to be a loser, and the owners/FO are not robots.
  19. Now's Bradley's chance with the Hanley injury. If he can hit, he may stay up for good.
  20. His D needs to improve though. The Sox just leak runs all over the place. His bat is not good enough to justify any defensive shortcomings.
  21. Prior was a star until injuries derailed his career.
  22. What isn't an overpay right now?
