    It's intellectually dishonest to take the heat off of the offense. The putrid May record was mostly caused by a huge stretch of May where the team was averaging 2 runs per game. The '98 Braves couldn't have had a winning month scoring two runs per game.

    People have that concept of Ortiz as a primadonna because he's quick to run his mouth about everything. Talk is cheap, however, and Ortiz' real contributions can be seen on the field. Those contributions, as have been presented above by Dojji and the others, speak volumes, and can't be denied.

    But the first symptom is usually forearm tightness, from what I've seen. Usually the elbow pain and discoloration around it happens when there's already a full tear. I'd defer to the Yankee-loving douchey doctor here, so he has the opportunity to be useful for once.

    Haren has a 3.41 ERA and a 1.20 WHIP against the Sox for his career, not too shabby. He's 2-7 against the Red Sox though, even though most of those losees came during better days.
