  1. TL;DR. Ortiz needs to get s*** done and stay healthy in his final season.
  2. TL;DR. Panda's fat, Hanley needs to put up or shut up, Porcello needs to pitch better. That entire thesis in a single sentence.
  3. Them's fightin' words.
  4. All them Drew boys lack grit and dirtdogness!
  5. It was boring 1,000 posts ago. What it is now doesn't even have a word in the English language.
  6. If they're going to go for a reclamation project, they should go for the best.
  7. Dat Jacko strawman.
  8. "Sustained" is the key word here. Neither Archer nor Stroman has "sustained" ace level production.
  9. Reading comprehension? On my talksox?
  10. Isn't that exactly what I meant when I said, and let me quote myself here: "He's got to pitch".
  11. Why is a700's vagina so sandy though? I didn't single him out. I guess he feels called out because he is, in fact, a douche (the biggest one here), and because what I speak is true. I only realized he was talking about my posts because I saw Kimmi quote him. Respect the ignore feature my ass. Go away and stop making s*** up with your bitch-ass buddies.
  12. Rodriguez has pitched a couple of months, but has excellent stuff. How the f*** can you know beyond a shadow of a doubt he's not top end talent? He's got to pitch first. Also, I will contend that Buchholz is very much a top-end talent, but he's as fragile as a sheet of toilet paper.
  13. Porcello and Hanley (offensively) are decent bets in my mind. Panda's young, but counting on his discipline both at the plate and in his personal life to improve at this point of time looks like a fool's errand to me.
  14. Scott Kazmir is another good example, but then again they are very much exceptions.
  15. That's a much smaller sample, and I'm talking mostly about abrupt regression/skill erosion, ssomething that can't be statistically predicted with any degree of accuracy.
  16. But I don't make s*** up, or make 100-page posts about pure and total nonsense. Get a grip.
  17. If being an ******* is calling a spade a spade, then I'll be an ******* all day long. Stop making s*** up, and I bet we'll get along swimmingly.
  18. What they are telling the audience is that it's impossible to accurately forecast a baseball season, but they are trying to create the next best thing. You seem to ironically, not understand the literal meaning of "literally".
  19. It's not a question, it is common sense. Teams with presidents of baseball operations, have the president of baseball operations calling the shots. Larry called the shots, which is why Epstein got the hell out of here. There is no question. It is a fact. The hierarchy is there for all to see. The real question being asked is whether or not Cherington was a "puppet". That's a douchey question asked by douchey people trying to rile up people who liked Cherington. Let's stick to actual baseball talk instead of trying to annoy good posters plz.
  20. The stat gurus know this. Baseball is played by people, not walking stat sheets. When a guy's cooked, he's cooked. There's no regression, no career averages, no nothing,
  21. But shouldn't we be over the BC arguments already? It's like a scorned, cheated-on ex talking to her girlfriends about what a douche the dudebro she was dating was. Pablo's fat, the rotation needs improving, Hanley still looks like a linebacker and Castillo says he tweaked his swing. Plenty to talk about.
  22. The problem is, that the law of averages respects nothing in regards to baseball.
  23. It's better than the s*** you and Elktonnick are making up. That's for damn sure. Again, none of us know the inner workings of the Red Sox organization. Stop making s*** up.
  24. Why do some people here talk like they have the "Inside track" to insider information pertaining the Sox organization? None of us know. Cut that s*** out.
