    There were more than two dozen fatal stabbings and shootings within two blocks of East Baltimore St last year. Tourists are mugged stabbed robbed and shot all the time, just not publicized as much. The Inner Habor, Littly Italy are safe relatively but it is very bad advice to suggest that tourists are immune or that a Red sox hat will protect you. Baltimore is a very very dangerous city. And I am not someone who is feint of heart.

    Just becuase he is nuts doesn't mean he is stupid. The psych ward is full of very bright people.

    I agree with you ( for the second time). I don't know if Paps is bright or not. He is a free spirit and a flake. He gives the impression of being someone who speaks withot thinking, though. In hius way he reminds me of Bill Lee although not as erudite.

    Bleacher report says Dice-K could return mid 2012 at earliest. That is consistent with the point of the article posted above.

    I thought the same when I posted it. The good news is maybe we can unload them sooner too.

    Who said "easy as just rehab." Rehab if done properly isn't easy. Rehab isn't throwing a couple of innings in Florida but rather a part of a holistic approach that is quite involved. There are plenty well written articles for the layman that describe the process if your intersted.

    I believe they Ben/Bobby et al will be taking Beckett's pulse. I am not 100% convinced that the club really wants Beckett back. I sense they would like to trade him if they could. I know that will be hard to do.
