This. Jays still have a solid team that underperformed this year and always give us good series. I wasn't expecting a sweep of the Reds, Jays and Astros going into the playoffs. All that matters is winning the division right now which would take a complete mental breakdown to not do that. I still hope we can win this series against the Jays because the Astros series (even though they might rest some players) will still be a very tough series. It's only one loss and I am fine with it as it was a competitive game...... Had Drew pitched like he is capable of it would have been an easy win.

Hopefully Nunez is back in time but it seems they are hiding something or just don't know yet. Would be a huge lift to this team if he can return for the first series of the playoffs. Otherwise David no question should be on the roster. -
Poms will be just fine hopefully. He usually rebounds very nice after a s*** start.

I'm not saying I'm done with the guy or anything far from it actually. I still like Poms a lot. Every single pitcher has off games. It happens. I'm just stating the obvious. The bullpen was awesome and the offense did enough. Should have been a win.

Agreed? I'm confused. Poms was pulled at the right time. Nobody expected him to have a melt down the way he did and when he completely fell apart we went to the bullpen. It's a 3 run game. Still easily winnable

The good teams like Houston and Cleveland will spot this and eat him alive. BEen worried about this since the All Star break.

Stanks are up 4 0 on Kansas. Man what happened to Kansas? Solid team but under performing two years in a row. Poor buggers are going to lose a lot of their stars after this year and go right down the shitter.

Might be a tough game. Jays looked pretty good in their series against the Yankees. Hopefully Boston brings their A game. We have won 9 of our last 10. Team is definitely getting hot at the right time. Let's keep it going into the playoffs boys and girls!

Ya I'm fine with the decision. Still don't get why Porcello was pulled so early though ? After the first inning he started to settle down.
