  1. Agreed. Someone said he had an injury. I honestly wasn't even aware of it till now. Just a s*** year for him. Anything less than an exceptional year next year and I wouldn't miss him at all.
  2. That's fair. I didn't realize the injury to be honest but they can make a huge different. Just day and night from last year for him. I guess we don't have much choice but to keep him. Hopefully he has a rebound year. Also is there a reason we aren't giving Price much work? I know we are losing horribly but hasn't he only had like 3 innings since returning? Why not give him some innings tonight?
  3. Unfortunately. Guess we keep him?
  4. Absolutely awful game. Down to 3 game lead after tonight If Yanks win. Ugh. Unreal.
  5. I like him and he has some great power but I agree. I wouldn't overly miss him.
  6. This game is horribly boring.
  7. Joe Kelly. Hasn't been many highlights this game but the bullpen looks good.
  8. Donaldson up. Everyone hold your breath.
  9. Young makes another mistake. Shocker. Tough catch yes but in a game like this it has to be made.
  10. That's fair. Regardless he just didn't have it tonight. Wish we had the division clinched so he could have had some rest. His strikeouts are still fantastic but the second half of the season hasn't been the greatest for Sale. I think he's starting to get burnt out. Some rest would have been nice.
  11. Honesty at this point he has been s*** his last 4 out of 5 start season. Whether we could have afforded to rest him or not he probably needed it right till playoffs. Sale has just been off this last month and some.
  12. Why is Sale still in the game???? Get him out and let him rest.
  13. Super concerning. Sales last 3 out of 4 starts are scaring me.
  14. Another lack lustre performance from our offense.
  15. Seriously????? This has to be scripted.
  16. His strikeouts are still on par tonight at least.
  17. 5 strikeouts for Sale already. Man is nasty
  18. Lol my response exactly.
  19. Donaldson is way too good.
  20. I still get really nervous with Price during playoffs but I am hoping if he is in the bullpen and gets some innings in during the playoffs it might spike his confidence a bit and hopefully he can play a full solid game in the rotation. Hopefully we can make a decent run and give Price some work during the post season....... I have never once thought Drew was better than Price regular season wise..... But there isn't a pitcher on our rotation that scares me more than Price during the playoffs.
  21. I second that..... Never want to rush a player back from an injury that we don't quite understand...... Always frustrating from a fans view seeing a good player get hurt and waiting for him to come back. Reminds me of COLTS fans wanting Luck back to play now and everyone thinking he is fine.... You rush a player back too soon from injury or surgery and it could take them out even longer or ruin their career permanently.
  22. Once Price is back to the starting rotation I will be interested to see where Poms goes. 3rd??
  23. Either our medical staff is awful or they thought it wasn't too serious...... Either way it was stupid to not pull him immediately.... Could be the difference whether he makes the playoffs or not..... Some injuries you get the player out of the game right away and rest him....... Others if it's just mild they can be ok.... But generally an injury regardless how serious it is or not (even a mild spasm) you should get the player out asap to stay on the safe side. I didn't personally see it but from the other posters on the board it didn't sound good.
  24. I honestly don't see the Jays losing him. That player is a one man wrecking machine....... He sparks that entire offense. Jays would be absolutely insane to not do everything they can to keep him. I understand if a big market team comes after Donaldson the Jays might not have much choice...... But Donaldson has said numerous times he loves playing in Toronto and loves the fans...... I would actually be surprised to see him leave Toronto if they offer him something half decent.
