  1. Just realized that I'll be in school when the Sox raise the banner on Friday. s***** luck. Story of my life.
  2. I saw him hit a HR off a ball in the dirt that bounced first.
  3. Another season. I get home from school right at 3. Love it. Game time: 3:05 p.m. Location: Camden Yards, Baltimore TV/Radio: NESN, WEEI Notes: Follow today's game on Boston.com beginning at 3 p.m. with our live blog.
  4. Well, it's really been the last 3 seasons, dating to Napier's sophomore season.
  5. I'm guessing they all have different fathers.
  6. Let's go!!!!! Sorry, Red Sox, next weekend, I'm watching basketball, not your home opener!
  7. If could like this post, I would do so an infinite number of times.
  8. That wasn't my point.
  9. When I was in SF, we were going to go to a Giants game (the year they won their first WS), but we were too concerned with the wind/cold that always seems to exist in SF. We could have had seats close to McCovey Cove, but we went to an A's game instead and got seats down the LF line, just behind the A's bullpen. This was before they got good, so we walked up to the gate and got such good seats.
  10. I completely agree. It can also be used as a guide for new users, and should tell them who it is worth arguing against and who will just embarrass them.
  11. I'm assuming you were there when it was RPI.... Or would that make you REALLY old? On a side note, UConn's in the Sweet 16! UConn is one of the best teams in the nation when it comes to knowing how to lean on one player. Shabazz is doing that for us now, while Kemba did it in 2011.
  12. Feeling good about picking Harvard, Dayton, ND State, and SF Austin. Went 15-1 on Thursday, only loss was Arizona State vs Texas. Yesterday, things turned south. Duke blew it (had them in NC game), then I incorrectly picked Providence and Oklahoma State among others.
  13. It made my day when I woke up and saw that Puig went 0-5 with 3 K's. Of course, my man Pollock didn't do anything either.
  14. This is the year he's due to be injured.
  15. That seems like the way it is in all sports. The teams that dominate the preseason usually come in last in the regular season standings or close to it.
  16. I'm itching to change my initial predictions, but I'll let them be for now. The WC spots in the AL will be tough this year. KC and Cleveland are going after the Tigers, while the Rangers and Angels try to take down the A's. And we don't know who will rise out of the East. Initially, it seems like a 4 team race for the first half, dropping to 3 by the dog days.
  17. It can happen. I think he'll fit well with Wright. Since they don't overlap at all on the field, they should compliment each other well on offense.
  18. While we're on the topic of CF who left their teams to play for the rival, I'm predicting an MVP like year for Granderson in Queens. That RF porch at Citi Field was attacked in the HR Derby last year, and Granderson is a pull hitter. I'm thinking somewhere along the lines of .320, 30 HR, 120 RBI, along with a possible gold glove in CF. The only other real threat in the NL for Gold Glove at CF is McCutchen.
