  1. Man, I'm just missing out here, aren't I? I'll be in town for Patriot's Day Weekend (it's become an annual tradition to go to the Sunday game, not the Monday game), and the following weekend for my brother's NU visit.
  2. Yeah, too concerned on filling holes at C, CF, and their rotation I guess.
  3. So NBC finally came to their senses and kicked Costas off the air because of his eye infection. Matt Lauer will take his place in the primetime slot.
  4. More of a joke on my part. I know he got "hurt" in like July then just didn't bother coming back.
  5. If they did they would be continuing a Drew family tradition: being paid $8 million to sit on the bench for the Red Sox. JD did that during the last half of... 2011 was it? I can't remember off the top of my head.
  6. Speaking of favorite ex-Sox players, Ells is on the top of my list. I'm shocked I haven't burned my shirt yet. Rest of the top 5 is Jason Bay, Adrian Beltre, before we knew about the steroids version of Manny, and Youk. Probably a few more that I can't think of off the top of my head.
  7. *cough* 15-year-old *cough*
  8. They won the WS, but not with Hanrahan. If you think that we wouldn't have won it without Hanrahan's minuscule production, then you should reconsider.
  9. Please, Ben..... DO NOT INVITE HIM TO ST OR SIGN HIM! Nothing against him, but we don't need another RHP in the bullpen who can "close" and hasn't pitched in the MLB since having TJS. If he was lefty, maybe it would work.
  10. The new jersey is basically the same as the old one, but red. Love it.
  11. True, but I guess part of it is that I've been so busy.
  12. Wow, that offseason flew by. Hard to believe it's already spring training. Like BTR, I'm also psyched out by XB wearing #2.
  13. For me, it was Gomes' go ahead bomb in game 4 of the 2013 WS. I was literally praying for a bomb when he came up to bat, and Dave O'Brien's call of it has stuck with me since. That was the turning point of the series.
  14. Okay, hopefully I'm as good here as I am with the NFL. Names get more creative as I go along. 15. Hell yeah! If only you had said Go Thunder!
  16. I felt intimidated by them last season, but they ended up being the odd man out of the equation. The Sox and Rays obviously had good enough years to make the playoffs, and the Yanks and Orioles were solid contenders until September. It's really important for the Jays to start off well, and win a lot of AL East games. They had a fairly hard time doing that in the first couple months last year. If they can do that, as well as keep their starters off the DL, they should be in the thick of it, and the AL East should pretty much be a 5 team race until the dog days.
  17. If I wanted to sit here and watch Brooklyn get bashed, I'd go to a Nets game.
  18. I hate basically everything about the Heat, but their PA guy makes the game fun to watch/be at.
  19. Just looked it up, and next game for the Thunder is Wednesday in Miami. Raise your hand if you are going to watch that.
  20. Just another great day to be an OKC fan. Big reason why Thunder is my username.
  21. I'm just glad I have some mementos from each season.
  22. I missed all the good parts of the ALCS in 2007 because I was playing football. That was before the time of DVR. I do remember parts of that ALCS and most of the WS.
  23. Now I really feel left out about 2004. I was 6, and somehow only remember the ALCS comeback. Even that is a vague memory.
  24. I remember nothing. Almost exactly 12 years before my existence.
  25. I got that all planned out. Hunter Pence may also be a good fit, but the Giants may hold onto him.
