  1. Exactly! I mean it’s kind of obvious to take but again, it seems like it is not for some of them so wonder whether Cora is addressing all these kind of details in a daily basis. Rafaela seems to have a very low baseball IQ. Look what happened yesterday.
  2. We traded Sale for a guy who is getting rust down there but paid to a dead arm. Not sure at what this team is worst? Coached, managed or run?
  3. The worst thing about mediocrity is that winning one game here and other there might make you think you are finally going to the right direction. We might win today and would hide the real issues of this team —again. They need a deep diagnostic to address the real issues.
  4. This is when ppl look at stats and don’t understand what is really happening on the field. Most teams are very close to 100% fielding percentage, because they are MLB players but at this level 1% or 2% of margin of error makes the whole difference to make the POs or be at the basement like the Sox in recent years. They suck at defense and fundamentals. Plain and simple. To put it in context those 50+ errors and counting give the opposition 50+ more outs while taxing your pitching staff arms, confidence and mind of the whole team. Your assessment is very poor to say the least pal.
  5. Bergman was a huge loss but we still could have won some of those games. It is actually a combination of errors and poor fundamentals that are not necessarily translated to errors, that have us in this situation. Look at Hamilton not taking the extra base or Abreu trying to go yard in the 10th instead of putting the ball in play to move the runner despite he’s struggling. Yeah hitting especially with LOB and RISP has been a huge issue which makes me wonder what has the hitting coach done to address that? Apparently nothing or what he’s trying to do is definitely not working. IMO Cora’s speech in the locker room has worn out and that doesn’t necessarily mean he is a bad coach but it isn’t working anymore reason why sometimes you need to change that to see different results. Again back to back to back seasons leading baseball in errors is not a coincidence. I still believe that this is a good core of talent but that is not well coached, managed and run.
  6. Stupidity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting same results. Saying “We have to do better” every night won’t change the situation. I don’t how or when but it’s clear to me that this team has to work their ass off to correct their fundamentals (mentally and execution). You don need to be a baseball guru to know that. What you are suggesting is business as usual, then who is bringing stupidity to the table?
  7. Yet 51 error and leading baseball in this category speaks volumes how this team is run, managed and coached. There’s no way to sugar coat it.
  8. If I’m Cora I make sure everybody stay in the stadium and practice fundamentals to dead!
  9. Washington still wondering how in the hell they won this game lol
  10. 171 SO with RISP and 51 errors thus far Sox leading all baseball. Shocking!!!! … but not surprised. how do you give Cora a vote of confidence with those stats man? Explain me like a 10 yo!!!
  11. They just can’t win when they really can. And this one was one of the most winnable games of the season even with 3 errors. I won’t be surprised if they are swept tomo. Not sure what else JH need to see to shake this f***ing team up.
  12. Running like a headless chicken? Lol man you made my night, can’t stop laughing lol
  13. They are doing everything in their power to lose this one as well. Cora should have PH Abreu and Gonzalez. They are clueless at the plate.
  14. Hamilton should have taken the base which is a sign of distrust in their capabilities and another frustrating inning and game are cooking.
  15. He just needs to avoid mental errors and he’ll be fine.
  16. You can’t aspire to anything with all those errors, and it’s beyond this season. This FO has not done anything to address it.
