  1. Toro has shown he’s a good 1B and even 3B. Fairly above Casas and Devers combined who obviously are not a reference. At very least average but in my book above average. Campbell OTOH has to practice a lot more, especially mentally.
  2. Still Narvaez was the right option. Narvaez is by miles a better hitter than f***ing Hamilton any day any time, it’s not even close, then it is baseball and you can’t control outcomes. Stop nonsense.
  3. 100% this. The 100 M question is what are they doing to address this issue. From the distance it seems they are doing very little if anything. Cora can’t expect better results by just telling them we have to do better. Do they need to practice more? Do they need help with their mental health? Re-Remember fundamentals? A better coaching staff? Pretty much all of the latter? I mean, I want to think they are addressing the issue by addressing some of these possible problems. If they think D is going to be solved magically one day just because they are going to start playing better, simply it’s not a happen. They lead the league in errors for the 3rd year in a row.
  4. Yeah but ups and downs are more pronounced to Giolito. Literally one day he’s better than Cy Young and the other he looks like a position player pitching.
  5. El Toro just missed that man. The more I see the guy the more I believe he’s for real. Regardless the outcome he always gives you a professional and competitive AB.
  6. This is on Cora. He should explicitly tell them to play easy baseball at this point and not trying to do more like trying to pick out guys. They simply can’t. They have to limit errors at all cost, again at this point.
  7. This should be easily 4-0 Sox instead it’s 2-1. The latter has been the Story of the season. We just can’t capitalize opportunities more often.
  8. Giolito is the sun and the moon. Today fortunately he seems solid thus far.
  9. Who would you sit when Bergman is up? Me? Story but ain’t gonna happen.
  10. Duran, wtf man? You just can’t play clean baseball, can you? Geez!!
  11. Kid is special, no doubt about that. His stance and discipline at plate is simply different.
  12. Yet we could have won despite all that, kind of the point.
  13. As much I don’t like Kelly, he wasn’t that bad tonight. Cora walked Aranda giving Kelly little margin of error and Kelly is not made for that at all. These little intangible details have cost us a lot of games.
  14. He did. Can’t wait the implementation of strike/ball challenging.
  15. It’s really frustrating man in every possible way.
  16. Walking Aranda when Kelly was kind of solid was a huge mistake.
  17. This could be the last game for Kelly in Red Sox uniform.
  18. TB is trying so hard to L but we just can’t take the W.
  19. Nice inning by Chapman but somehow he didn’t pitch that hard against the first batter.
