Story quietly is playing all star D for us again.

I mean this should be over by the 5th inning, but as I said, the way they lost tonight is taxing their morale very hard and I love it lol

Carlos Narváez mannnn!! He keeps surprising everybody. Not the best way to win it but this is the kind of wins that taxes the morale of the opposition.

This is a pretty good example of why Cora is a mediocre manager —at best. He sends Hamilton to D instead of keeping him on the bench to PR later in the game especially if this goes to extra innings. You might argue that he he has a better D than Campbell but he does not, Hamilton is arguably more sloppy but most importantly Campbell’s been sharp tonight at second with the glove and with all the confidence of the world. All the latter are the little intangibles that sometimes taxes you one way or another at times and that Cora doesn’t know how to read them very often.

Hamilton’s value is only at the paths, yet he is sloppy at times, either he runs when he doesn’t have to run and sometimes he doesn’t run when he has to. But the latter doesn’t mater because he can’t get on base. He is nothing but a Mendoza hitter. And don’t let me start with his D. Again, he’s sloppy at the latter too. Said that if somehow you get something decent for him, get it done ASAP

I didn’t expect this from Buehrle. 7 IP 3 ER? I take this line every day of the week. Even the pitch vs Diaz, it was a good one, you just have to tip your hat and move on like he did. if somehow Giolito and Buehrle can be more consistent, this team will have a real shot.
