    I just wish he (and anyone else who does it) didn't have to come out at all. That they didn't have to announce "I am gay" like it's some defect or something that needs to come with a warning. If only they could just live their lives and let people figure it out for themselves, without those people flying off into fits of homophobia - which I am sure is gonna be rampant in locker rooms across the country now, as insecure men wonder who else might be gay. Because sure as s*** the number of active players who are gay is >1.
