  1. You know, I can see the sense in Yankee fans trolling here, but what's with the Cleveland troll?
  2. He's no Strasburg, but with the error, and Cameron mishandling two balls not a whole lot more could have been expected from him.
  3. Well, technically that's because the Sox have played two more games than the Yanks. The Yankees have a higher runs per game. Still, pretty impressive.
  4. The boos were louder than the cheers, but more people were clapping in the stands. Did I miss it, or did Manny not address the fans at all?
  5. Pedro + Manny > Papelbon and Beltre.
  6. Oritz just sent a message to Manny.
  7. Doubront strikes out the first batter. That's a good sign, right? 1-2-3 inning too. Dice-k better watch his back.
  8. I miss the days when this team had Hall of Famers on it. Right now, they don't even have a player who will start the all-star game at this rate.
  9. Or athletes with big contracts.
  10. Wow, all the United States need to do is win against Algeria and they make it to the second round. Even crazier, if England doesn't win its third game, they could potentially get in with a tie without winning a single game.
  11. That's too bad. Now Victor Martinez is back to being the slowest runner on the team.
  12. The way Kobe was playing was sickening. There were times he had anywhere from two to four guys covering him, and he still preferred to take the shot then pass it. One of the analysts from ESPN called it best when they said "The team that plays better will win". Kobe can't do it alone.
  13. And Tom Brady was a 6th round pick. All those teams projected him poorly because of his size, so he went undrafted. But in the end, he was good enough to make it here, so let's be happy for him, and for what he does for the team.
  14. They held the Lakers to 34 in the half. That's insane.
  15. Haha, yeah, I know, it was a joke about how obnoxious the teal was. But I very much do like the color now, good work Yeszir.
  16. Haha, okay, I accept that. But it actually is teal, right?
  17. I'm getting one with the painful teal background. Pumpsie, what was the name of your forums? :harhar:
  18. I'm bouncing off the walls today. I probably shouldn't have skipped my daily run.
  19. (To tune of Nike commercial) Anything Drew can do, Drew can do better. Drew can do anything better than Drew.
  20. Good call. I was a little short-sighted there. Although, Texas is hitting better, it still makes a difference.
  21. I did my own math. The four teams in the AL East besides the Sox have scored 1245. The four teams in west have scored 1153. That's less than 8%. The Sox play, what 18 games against other teams in the East? so, 72 total in the East. That's less than half the year. So the difference in runs would be around half as well, for the sake of argument, lets call it 4% total. So yes, being in the East affects your pitching, but if you're playing on one of the Sox/Yankees it doesn't affect it as much as you seem to suggest.
  22. You need to take the Red Sox out of the equation before you do that kind of math. The Red Sox are #1 in runs scored, so it makes a big difference. 1290-349= 941. 941 x 1.25 = 1.25 = 1176. 1176 isn't that far off from 1151. Edit-- based on what ORS said, I don't know if this is right either.
