  1. Even if this deal doesn't go through, I'd love to see the names that were being exchanged. I wish GMs would write tell all books, instead of s***** celebs.
  2. -MLBTR Hoenstly, I'm not taking a s*** on the Red Sox here, even if SawxFrostFan or whatever thinks I am but I think the Nats get Gio. Even though I REALLY Wish the Sox do cause he would get DESTROYED in the AL East with that command. But I can see the Red Sox getting Bailey for one of two packages.... 1. Kalish, Ranaudo and Alcantara 2. WMB, Reddick and Anderson
  3. Reds sound close to a deal. Offering Wood and reportedly two prospects.
  4. I just want to say that Im proud of you bud. Finally a trade where you don't trade rape the other team. You get a gold star.
  5. Thanks for the list, but Iglesias over Jacobs? yikes.
  6. I like Cespedes, but when you factor money in I'd rather take Soler and sign that cuban pitcher as well for half the price Cespedes would cost. In other news, Oswalt is willing to take a one year deal, would you bite? That back scares me more than Garcia's crappy pitching.
  7. Full year of Brad Ziegler. They also added a nice lefty in Craig Breslow, who should be aided in going to the NL West. Putz, hernandez and Paterson make a heck of a backend of the bullpen.
  8. The Diamondbacks have one of the better bullpens in the NL.... David Hernandez, J.J. Putz, Joe Paterson, Brad Ziegler, Craig Breslow and Saito.
  9. My prediction of the 2013 top prospects. I won't mention draft and ifa guys since I don't know who we'll pick up haha. 1. Manny Banuelos, I think he gets almost a full year in Triple-A. I can see Noesi and Betacnes being ahead of him in the DC and even to a lesser extent Warren and Phelps. He had kind of a meh year for a 'top prospect' but I think he really grows in terms of a pitcher this year. 2. Gary Sanchez, guy put up similar numbers to Xander of the Red Sox this year. I can see him starting in Tampa and ending his year in Trenton. I'm calling a 30 homerun season from him. 3. Mason Williams, I struggled to put him 2nd on the list. A true five tool talent. 4. Rafeal DePaula banking that he'll finally get his visa. 5. Jake Cave similar route Williams took. 6. Angelo Gumbs excited to see what this kid will do in a full season league. 7. Taylor Morton hoping for the best here! 8. JR Murphy Another solid year. 9. Dante Bichette Jr Won't be able to reproduce his 2011 season, but I see legit power numbers, everything else average. 10. Ravel Santana I can see a slow start, then turning it on towards the end. I also predict Montero, Warren, Phelps, DJ Mitchell, Noesi, Betances and Zolio Almonte to graduate.
  10. Debate what? I asked you to breakdown the Red Sox rotation and you did the Yankees... I said Jackson gave a realistic opinion on the Yankees rotation, CC and AJ's are on par with their track records. He blasted Garcia and to some degree Hughes. Finally, Nova was lights out in the second half. He never says he will be an ace in 2012. I don't understand what you're trying to say here...
  11. Here's sickels list http://www.minorleagueball.com/2011/12/13/2633672/boston-red-sox-top-20-prospects-for-2012
  12. Welcome! Australia is such an awesome place. Ever been to the Gold Coast? As for Conan him flip flopping between the Yankees and Red Sox in 2003/2004 is one of the reasons why I stopped watching him haha. I tune in every now and then since his TBS run tho.
  13. If you really want Tex, I'm sure Cashman would trade you Tex for A-Gon. Be happy you got an all star 1B with a good glove at 1B.
  14. He basically says Gracia won't be as good. Hughes will rebound but still not be that good, which is true cause he can't get any worse. AJ is up and down but will give innings, which is true and CC will be an ace. Give me a breakdown of your rotation.

  16. Nope darvish can complain, say you make him a 4 mill for 5 year offer. That's not competitive so the league office can strip your bid and give it to second highest
  17. I bet LITTLE Nicky Punt-0H will be a big factor with your team. Might even get 45 starts. Book it.
  18. ESPN says..... Trade 2. New York Yankees and Seattle Mariners Yankees acquire: RHP Felix Hernandez Mariners acquire: RHP Ivan Nova, C Jesus Montero, RHP Dellin Betances http://insider.espn.go.com/blog/the-gms-office/post?id=2863&action=upsell&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fblog%2fthe-gms-office%2fpost%3fid%3d2863 I'd do that, but the M's wouldn't. Still if that happened I'd be the happiest person ever.
