I wish him and Montero all the best. I've said before I'd rather sell high on Nova this off season than trading Noesi cause I think Noesi will end up being better than Nova career wise.

Nope I was just trying to guage interest. I was thinking if maybe one or two red sox fans thought their farm was better we could have a debate. Maybe even expand it each week to something different, like bullpen, lineup, rotation.

With the DH spot opened up now, we have a few options... Staying put so to say, A-Rod and Jeter getting rest at DH with Jones getting some time as well. Signing Fielder. Signing Pena Shipping AJ out for a bad contract, Soriano of the Cubs and Carlos Lee of the Astros come to mind. Jorge Vazquez being called up and given a legit shot. Then there's always Manny Ramirez(I don't like that at all but it's an option I guess) What do you think will happen, what would you like to see happen? I'd personally go for dumping AJ for Lee or Soriano if the Cubs covered the difference in money. Also wouldn't mind Pena coming aboard, he'd destroy in Yankee stadium.

Would anyone be interested in a Yankees-Red Sox who has the best farm debate? Even after Montero being dealt I still like the Yankees farm, but I do give the Sox credit for what they have.

The fact is if you got pineda all red sox fans would be creaming themsleves. There's so many stats you can find flaws with everyone. If we got felix red sox fans would be talking about his declining fastball velocity and never pitching well in pressure games and how he's a 3 at best and next year hell be a 4 cause his fb will be 91 tops.

I was being sarcastic but no need to talk bad about campos, he's legit. Also about pineda... all of last year all I heard was how he was the greatest young pitcher in baseball, the new felix, the new man in town. Now he's on the yankees, he's a #4. this being a red sox forum im not surprised he's being mislabeled. Is he an ace? No. Is he a #1 starter? No. Is he a#2pitcher? Yes. That's what we needed, I hate giving up the package we did tho.

Yeah man I got to agree the Rays and Angels rotations are better, but 3rd best rotation with the best lineup and best bullpen in the AL is nothing to shoot down.

told my friend after the deal went down Campos was a steal and that in two years we'll look back at this deal and he'll be the best piece in the deal.

I love Pindea, in fact I think with Pineda we got a better rotation than the Sox, still loads behind the Rays, but I really liked Noesi and Montero. I liked both of those guys to have huge years.

Rumor now is the Yankees will sign Fielder and thats why Hal met with Boras. That would be sick, but idk I just loved Montero and Noesi. -
