  1. I didn't mention anything about myself there...
  2. First off, wow. Second, wow... the AL is stacking up fast. Tigers, Rangers and Yankees are super powers and then the Angels, Rays, Red Sox and Jays(just signed Cordero) aren't too bad either. Going to be a fun year, but playing in the playoffs isn't going to be much fun.
  3. Youk isn't your clean up hitter, is he?

  5. KLong basically called him a 200 hitter at the major league level, but I think Vazquez would hit 400 with 8 homeruns in the month of April then hit 240 with 5 homeruns in May then become a 200 hitter from there on out. It might be worth it for that April tho.
  6. So you think Ellsbury and Ortiz will be able to retain their 2011 numbers then? If the Yankees had Miguel Cairo at 2B and Tony Womack in LF you'd be ALL over them saying how their offense wasn't going to be up to par.
  7. Whats your trade offer?
  8. You didn't have anyone that could of got him. Z said he was looking at Logan Morrison, Mike Stanton or Jesus Montero for Pineda and that was his short list.
  9. So your lineup is... C: Salty 1B: AGon 2B: Pedo SS: Punto 3B: Youk LF: Avilies(until Crawford comes back) CF: Ellsbury RF: Sweeney DH: Ortiz I mean I see there's obvious talent there with AGon, Pedo, Ells and Ortiz. Guys the Yankees pitchers will be scared of, but the rest is very MEH. Salty, Punto, alivies and Sweeney are probably below average at best.
  10. Rockies, Red Sox Close To Completing Scutaro Deal By Mark Polishuk [January 21 at 4:40pm CST] The Rockies and Red Sox are "finishing up" a trade that would send Marco Scutaro to Colorado in exchange for a pitcher, reports Troy Renck of the Denver Post (Twitter link). Renck believes the pitcher heading to Boston could be Clayton Mortensen, whose name was mentioned in previous discussions between the two teams (via Twitter). -MLBTR This time it looks for real, FOLKS! I can't understand it myself but meh. Esp with Cody Ross close to signing with the Mets.
  11. its not a close deal, the rockies are just trying for him. This guy jumped the gun, cause of twitter
  12. no tulo. its scutaro for tulo plus cash.
  13. Frees up money for your boy oswalt
  14. Here's an idea... but I'm not sure if the Red Sox could afford it. Hart makes 9.5 million this year and 10.3 next year. Offering up a deal like Alex Wilson, Brandon Jacobs and Ryan Kalish for Hart might not be a bad idea. Brewers could insert Aoki in RF and if he fails Kalish might be healthy by then.
  15. Not looking to start a fight, but I'm wondering what do you guys think about the Yankees and Red Sox benches? Right now the Red Sox projected bench is Punto, Shoppach, McDonald and Avilies(I'm guessing Crawford isn't out too long) vs the Yankees (Jones, Nunez, Cervelli and one of Maxwell/Dickerson)
  16. B+? Yeah I think it's a B+
  17. Harden's going to cost $3 million, Webb has nothing left man, he's topping out at 85 mph you'd be better served to bring wakefield back.
  18. Jorge Arangure @jorgearangure Reply RetweetedRetweet Delete FavoritedFavorite · Close Open Details Not sure if it's a joke cause of the Rob Lowe reference but theres been rumors of Floyd to the Jays for about two weeks now.
