  1. So wait, you're "Lackeyfan38" but he's a fraud? Waaaahhhh?
  2. Ramirez is one of the best offensive players any of us will ever see, but his juice use will keep him out of the hall IMO. Incredible player, but just like Bonds and Clemens, they got busted, now they'll pay the price.
  3. Yes, time to break out the odds this shortly into the season. ESPN made my day.
  4. TROOOOLOLOLOLOLOL
  5. lol, no team, especially the Red Sox, is going to hit .190. And the ERA goes the same way. I'm not in the least bit concerned. after 5 games. I'm not saying that you're saying the sky is falling, I'm saying "eh, but it's five games, and you'd almost have to try to hit that poorly and give up that many runs, so I'm pretty sure the Sox will go on a huge run pretty soon".
  6. So that's the only reason why you're pulling for the Red Sox to win?
  7. Like, 1999, 2000. Thanks to #45.
  8. Pedro in his prime is almost unrivaled in the history of the sport, he had numbers that belonged in the 1960s during the height of the steroid era while pitching primarily at Fenway Park. Pedro Martinez in his prime is in his own league, absolutely no other way to answer this question. Greg Maddux had a very good stretch, and lasted longer with lesser stuff, but no pitcher was ever more overpowering than Pedro IMO.
  9. By performance, Lugo. By the douchebag meter, Damon.
  10. As to the actual topic, nope.
  11. Defense simply does not compare to offense in players' value, though.

    Hey

That better not be the same reason why the Dakotas are so "windy" Welcome to Talksox btw jopete.
  14. I think you're confusing "Player of the Year" and "Most Valuable Player". They're two very separate things. If it were player of the year, yeah maybe Lebron gets it, but Rose is without a doubt the most valuable player to his team out of all players and teams.
  15. Welcome to talksox
  16. Rose is incredible, IMO there's no way he doesn't get it. Bull got their new franchise player to build around.
  17. The former GM of the Lions trumps them all. Millen I think his name was, yeah, that guy was a dumbass.
  18. It's alright, we can all join together and laugh at the Cubs.
