    Aww, sorry you can't prove your case. Lin can't hit at all, this effects the players who hit around him as well. Ross is a guy who could probably put up an .800 OPS in the AL East. Also, Ross' career UZR is not really terrible. It's negative, but not to the point where he should be labeled a butcher. If Lin ever shows he can hit better than his weight, sure, go for it. Best case scenario is it's about a wash in overall WAR. Most likely scenario, Lin is a bag of suck that kills rallies and generally f***s up the production of his fellow players. No thanks.

    I'd also like to see you substantiate the claim Lin's an upgrade over Ellsbury defensively. Not that his offense is going to win him a spot anyways. This game isnt about run prevention or run support. Its about the combination of both, known as run differential. Whoever can provide the best combo at their position by WAR is who gets the job. Lin doesnt have anything to go off of.

    Word. I can appreciate Target Field/Miller Park/Jacobs Field, but there was something really sad about Yankee Stadium and all of the other old stadiums go down. Fenway and Wrigley are the only ones left. It just doesn't feel right to think about Fenway going down.

    Who doesn't heckle the Yanks and their fans. Every team, rival or not, can agree on one thing, and thats that the Yankees stink.

    They don't hate the Red Sox, they hate the Twins and Tigers. Philly is generally a hostile sports town, I don't think I'd ever have an interest in going to an Eagles or Phillies or 76ers or Flyers game.

    Lol, if there are no absolutes in this world, there effectively ARE absolutes. Thats why that rule defeats itself. It all actually started because I said Miller is never going to work out, and thats my opinion. User just wanted to nitpick that I was trying to be omniscient or something, even though I previously said he can, and I just don't think he will. I don't think I should have to specify "imo" before every statement, or else it be perceived as an absolute. User would never have brought up absolutes if I had said Miller is going to work out. Anyways, everyone on this site makes an absolute statement in pretty much every post, lets not get that petty where we have to have 5 pages of broken record argument to see of absolutism exists or not.

    Oh, and Wrigley is Wrigley. US Cellular is just US Cellular. If they still had Comiskey it would be different.

    Wrigley is always the better choice. White Sox fans are the worst. They show up at Target Field and harrass people and act like general *******s. I can't imagine what US Cellular Field is like. I know someone who's been to Wrigley and US Cellular, and he said Cubs fans are nowhere near that level of d-baggery. Makes sense, though.
