  1. See, he's got that entitlement. It's almost like he's been here before.
  2. Maybe he finally figured out how to use a proxy.
  3. No they didn't, Chase Utley can never stay healthy, and Howard is hit and miss, he's a one-trick pony really. Their offense overall was good, but not great. The Rangers have a devastating offense that can rip any pitcher to shreds, when you factor in that rotation and bullpen.... I don't see how any team can make up ground on them in the west unless they have some injury problems. They were the best team the last couple of years IMO, even though the Giants kicked their asses pretty bad in 2010. They should have won in 2011, and they have to be the heavy favorite to win it in 2012. Such a fun team to watch.
  4. You mean like following people across the forums, being bitter enough to insult them when they're banned, etc.? Yeah, pretty much. Wait, do you think?
  5. Wouldn't even bother with him, he's been here trying to start ever since he joined. I'm pretty surprised that he's been here this long, but hey, Crespo was here long enough to make over 10,000 posts.
  6. He can't locate any of his pitches at all, and that Randy Johnson type slider he used to throw isn't even there anymore, because he blew out his arm throwing it too much. He can't hit the upper 90s anymore. I don't want him pitching for anyone but the Yankees or White Sox or Tigers. He gives up 5 runs every time he pitches, and he usually doesn't even make it into the 6th anymore.
  7. You're acting like I'm comparing the two. Peddy had a lot of questions surrounding his size, the fact that he's not very athletic for such a small player, and whether he had the range or arm to play in the middle of the infield. I also don't think very many people expected Pedroia to be as awesome as he was, right from the very start. He would have been way down on your list of guys who you'd think would have an .800+ OPS during his rookie season. Nava's just a scrub who plays hard.
  8. I like the underdogs who have .800+ OPS for their careers, like Dustin Pedroia, except he actually has the talent to do it, you know, for years. Didn't say I don't appreciate when crappy players play beyond their abilities, but he's still a crappy player.
  9. Cool story bro, he'll be riding the bench most of his career if he doesn't spend it in the minors. We get it, you like underdogs like Scrotey and Nava and Lin.
  10. Lol, the Tigers suck ass right now. They started off looking good, then when they got destroyed by the Rangers they pretty much just went to pieces, have been pretty mediocre since then.
  11. He stinks, but you could have someone like Trevor Plouffe or Drew Butera or Brian Dozier being your primary backups that even have to make the occasional start.
  12. Yeah man, that's a great idea. Pitch it to Bobby V.
  13. The Red Sox haven't won 90 games yet either. Come on guys. Really. REALLY!
  14. It's 45 games into the season. Not even. Come on, shut your ass. *Jokingly*
  15. +1, was going to point that out but couldn't be bothered to go back.
  16. No comparison at all dude, CC had a .600 or lower OPS all year, at least Gonzo has a somewhat respectable OPS.
  17. Happy belated 60th birthday, and happy early 61st birthday. That's killing two birds with one stone.
  18. NB Spraying Ass Mojo in full effect.
  19. Ted, clear out your PM storage some day.
