  1. This as well.
  2. If he can play SS, it would be pretty awesome, because we could explore 2B and 3B options, rather than SS and 3B options. I think that his past record proves that he has what it takes to play the position well. It could really, really help. I actually like this idea.
  3. You have to start thinking before you click the "submit reply" button, instead of taking shots on someone
  4. ...................... You hope they get Halladay? What the... And Halladay and Sabathia are not old turds like Mussina, Johnson, Wells, Clemens, etc. Jeez dude
  5. But you decided to take your shot at THAT point? Doesn't make sense.
  6. Exactly.
  7. What if he gets traded to the Reds? Or any other team with Red Socks, for that matter.
  8. Precisely. And so is Josh Johnson probably... The Marlins are cheap.
  9. Because Roy is arguably the best pitcher in baseball today. And I'm agreeing with example, they need to be able to re-sign him when that time comes around, especially if we're giving up Clay.
  10. K kl gd 4 u
  11. Yeah, Gonzo's definitely got a defensive edge still, but he's terrible offensively
  12. That's not what you were arguing, you were saying that they didn't drop the ball, and that's what Dipre was responding to. It's really just that simple. When you say something, like what you said, which is highlighted in bold, you shouldn't follow it up by telling me that they didn't drop the ball. Btw, just quoting what I said, and making one post is much simpler than making two posts. And why do you use the bold tags instead of the quote tags?
  13. The Red Sox waited too long to pull the trigger on the offer, so they dropped the ball didn't they?
  14. You honestly think he's leaving Minnesota? He loves it here. He's recently stated he would sign here for a lesser deal than the Sox or Yanks would offer. I'm pretty sure he's staying put.
  15. Being "gay" for Joe Mauer, I couldn't have said it any better myself. No one else deserved this award, Joe Mauer was arguably the best player in baseball this year. Joe Mauer added power, without sacrificing his incredible ability to make contact with the ball, and of course, he's absolutely stellar on defense. Joe Mauer is absolutely the player that the Twins envisioned, and more.
  16. Yeah, but Miggy didn't deserve any votes, at all. Mauer>>>>>>>>>>Miggy. Pujols>>>>>>>>Price. This year, those two players completely dominated their leagues, and I don't think there should have been any argument as to who the MVP's were this year.
  17. Last post before this guy: 01-24-2005, 04:24 PM Lol. I think he just might be a spammer.
  18. That'd be an extremely good starting rotation, but the price on JJ isn't THAT high. I think that they'd probably make that deal, but I don't think the Sox really want to give up that much
  19. Josh Johnson is a guy who hasn't missed time since his surgery... JJ's worth trading for, really, he absolutely dominated the Yankees in his start against them too. I'd love to see that happen
  20. Oh, and btw, idk if anyone else who has used the mobile service has had this problem, but, when I post, it never shows up... Like, I type something, hit the reply button, and like 90% of the time the post doesn't even show up. I think I've gotten it to work once
  21. Takes forever to load, though... The mobile version works quickly, though, which I like
  22. lol wulcum
  23. You're making it seem as though this is a small market team Mauer is "for" everyone, and by that I mean, anyone could use him. He's out of some team's budgets, but the Red Sox aren't one of those teams.
