  1. I really hope we get rid of Lowell so that we have room for Beltre/Gonzalez. Youkilis is an upgrade over him at third, and so is Beltre.
  2. Yeah, his splits against LHP are of concern, but atleast they're respectable. And I don't know that I would give away any active members besides Buchholz for him. I certainly wouldn't want to give up Ellsbury, as he's the only true lead-off man on the team. Like I've always said, I'd rather give up Buchholz, along with Kelly or possibly Westy, and then a couple other guys maybe.
  3. Seriously. Regardless of that, it doesn't need to be said. That's just the thing that causes breaks in the peace, the baiting.
  4. The prospects' stock could go down, as well. I don't think the answer is to trade Ellsbury with Buchholz, but rather to trade Buchholz with a few other prospects as well. Kelly, Westy, etc.
  5. He will stay in Minnesota. The Twins will give him a massive contract, I guarantee this.
  6. Yeah, you should almost think of it as when Gordon Edes says it won't happen, it very well could happen.
  7. Incorrect. Beltre had respectable numbers IN SEATTLE. SAFECO is a terrible place for hitters, and he still put up some decent power numbers. I think he'd be a prime candidate for huge bounce-back season at Fenway.
  8. Lol, just bump the old one : p
  9. They suck because they have some of the most obnoxious fans I know of. White Sox fans are terrible too, they come here and get all "in-your-face" during Twins games, and we usually end up winning, which is really funny, because the mouthy White Sox fans end up shutting their faces. My most hated teams are: 1. Yankees 2. White Sox 3. Cardinals
  10. The Colorless Crusader was classic.
  11. Yeah, pretty much.
  12. Jesus you are pale. You might be able to challenge Pete now. Holy hell
  13. http://www.talksox.com/forum/anything-goes/13291-dipres-top-5-whitest-people-history-ever-countdown-5.html The whitest people of all time thread. I'm whiter than you, there Pasty McFlamercrotch.
  14. I am more pale than you will ever be there, fire-crotch. See Dipre's list of the "whitest people of all time" thread.
  15. She has no ass. At all. And I resent the pale comments. What's wrong with having very light skin huh?
  16. Yeah, I see no reason why he'd be able to command Halladay money, especially when he's a lot more comparable, as said before, to a John Lackey. Only the Yanks would spend that kind of money on Josh Beckett, which I don't see happening.
  17. I hate the Cardinals and their fans with the hugest passion. And yeah, the amount of years is what I have the biggest problem with. And they better keep Pujols, otherwise I could see a huge drop off.
  18. Youk to 3B is NOT a downgrade from Lowell, but rather, a huge upgrade
  19. Nah, just thought it was a pretty funny response... Was obviously spamming
  20. I think the Angels can still contend in the AL West, and don't forget the Rangers, either. I think they'll definitely be tough in the West.
  21. Yup. Don't think giving up Ellsbury's the right choice. Buchholz, Kelley, Anderson would be the preferred route, but if it took Westy, I'd be willing to part with him as well.
  22. As it stands right now, we have one guy with killer speed, and no guys with clean-up hitter power. I just feel that losing him creates a definite hole in the lineup.
  23. Agreed 100%. This is where A-Gon comes in. Add Gonzalez and conclude the offseason. If we were to get Gonzalez, I'd say that brings us from around last year's lineup, to a lineup that's much better than last year's lineup. Last year, we didn't have a true cleanup hitter, either.
