Agreed about Kubel, and he showed against the Yankees that he can go into the most horrendous slumps ever. He's not a guy who plays consistently throughout the year, but has hot and cold streaks. As for Cuddyer, when healthy, he's been good for us for the most part of the past four seasons, one of those he was injured almost all year. Cuddyer's last three FULL seasons OPS: .867, .790, .862, which is pretty good, but no, he's no Kevin Youkilis, and Kubel is no healthy Mike Lowell. I don't agree with the argument, just thought I'd mention that Cuddyer isn't all that inconsistent. He's a real black hole in the lineup, wouldn't you say?

Did the point just sail over your head? The double standard is usually accepted, and guys don't bitch about it, because they're comfortable being heterosexual. I've called a s*** ton of chicks good looking, I think the chick who works behind the counter at the coffee shop during days if a hotty, and most guys don't just accept the double standard, they condone it.

This is all I'm going to say. Brevin Knight averaged 12.6 points and 8.8 assists with the Charlotte Bobcats as his teammates. He was never paid anything close to 11 million, let alone 15 million. That being said, Rondo has upside, and averages right around those numbers, and is young, so I'd guess 9-10M is perfectly fine with me. 11M is overpaying, but I'm fine with it, just not 15M. That's absolutely ridiculous

So you're willing to overpay significantly to have someone who averages 12 points and 8 assists, just because he plays point guard? Really dude? Really? Anyone could be a so-called (by your definition) leader with KG, Pierce and Allen as teammates, how many times does that need to be said?
