Agreed about Kubel, and he showed against the Yankees that he can go into the most horrendous slumps ever. He's not a guy who plays consistently throughout the year, but has hot and cold streaks. As for Cuddyer, when healthy, he's been good for us for the most part of the past four seasons, one of those he was injured almost all year.
Cuddyer's last three FULL seasons OPS: .867, .790, .862, which is pretty good, but no, he's no Kevin Youkilis, and Kubel is no healthy Mike Lowell. I don't agree with the argument, just thought I'd mention that Cuddyer isn't all that inconsistent.
He's a real black hole in the lineup, wouldn't you say?
