  1. I still don't get it. I have no idea when the skinny photo was taken. And you are correct, Pablo can gain 20 lbs easily very quickly. I too hope that he rakes in 2017 and subsequent years for that matter. I still doubt that he does, though.
  2. Yup. I would have no problem doing that. Of course in the event that he continues to flounder, it would be nice to hear her acknowledge that she may have been wrong about the Nutty 3rd Baseman.
  3. Typical Dojji. Out of nowhere an excellent f***ing post.
  4. I agree. I hope for the best. Also, those two pitchers were Bailey and Hanrahan, I believe.
  5. Welcome back big guy. How is Fatherhood?
  6. Why does everyone here accept as fact the idea that Pablo is in great condition now? What does that even mean? That he is in spring 2015 shape? People are so gullible. Yesterday Farrell said that Pablo was working hard and was healed and in fantastic shape. It must be fact!!!! Just as it was when he said the same s*** last year!!!!!
  7. The Sox want Butterball to be the starting 3b and have said that they need to get some value from him. Unless the fat f*** has a terrible Spring again, he will be the starting 3b. I hope that he can be at least average. That would be okay.
  8. Troll!
  9. I don't get the anti "win now" thinking. I understand that we traded away some promising talent. This team is pretty stacked to win now with the young guys under control for a few more years. If the Sox don't go for it now, when should they go for it? Why wait? And for what? The idea is to win. I don't believe winning now and winning in the future have to be mutually exclusive.
  10. DD said today that E Rod is one of the best young pitchers that very few people know about. He also said that E Rod is in the rotation. The Sox have no plans to send him down to Pawtucket.
  11. No. You missed my point. I did not say "may have". I said that there is precedent for it. There is Carson Smith from last year and then while I can not remember their names, a s*** hot reliever from Oakland that missed a whole season and another guy from Pittsburgh who did the same. Both combined never accomplished anything positive while with the Sox. As far as Sale's violent delivery, I have voiced concern about it many times.
  12. Some of the comments on that twitter feed were funny.
  13. This sentence could only have been written by you!
  14. I think I just jizzed in my pants.
  15. Conclusive evidence that he is a career failure at building pens!!!!!
  16. DD just stated that the rotation is in no particular order, Price Porcello Sale ERod Pom He also talked about all the back-up starters they had in Buch, Wright, Owens, Elias, and Johnson.
  17. How dare you attack Benni Boy! DD has shredded our farm system. My hands will wear out soon from all the wringing! Oh Heavens to Betsey what will I do?
  18. I'm down with it. Although Abraham just FB live a news conference with DD and JF. He said that they are not looking to make a long term deal for a DH type guy. Does that mean EE is not in the picture or is it just chaff? He also said that he had been having discussions with Koji and while the Sox did want him back that they had something in the works and then when it happened it meant that Koji is not going to be resigned. Kind of sad in a way. Koji was our guy and I have nothing bad to say about him. Still the best 1/2-1 season of dominant relief work I have seen for the Sox and a world tittle that would never have happened without him. Plus, he was just fun to watch, even when he was getting clobbered sometimes. The Sox are all in. So it will be really interesting to see if they acquire another bat.
  19. Where did I say that Carson Smith had done something wrong? I am saying that I do not value a player that highly when he blows up his arm JUST after he is traded for or acquired. Smith did nothing to help the Sox in his first year. Not his fault, but it could be a fault of the Sox for possibly not knowing that this injury was in the cards. And now the Sox have acquired another apparent stud BP arm with a recent history of elbow injury and only one healthy and productive season behind him. I say that is cause for concern. Especially if it happens to my team two years in a row.
  20. Gee thanks. But I do not understand what point you are making.
  21. I'm okay with this deal. As long as Sale's arm does not go kaput. I'm in the minority here but I have never been very high on Moncada. Just another glimmering prospect that stands a decent chance of being a huge dud. Will the Sox now go for a 3rd baseman like Turner? Will they move one of Buch, Pom, or ERod? DD is not done by any stretch in my opinion.
  22. Wow. Glad it was Moncada and not a core player.
  23. 3.9 BB/9 stuff as well.
  24. I guess none of you are concerned that DD may have traded for another Carson Smith? It seems that Thornburg has had elbow problems that he dealt with by having platelet therapy. I hope the deal is contingent on the results of imaging taken by the Sox prior to finalization of the deal. Cost controlled or not, this could be a suck deal if we acquired another broken arm for 1.5 years.
