  1. I lunge for the controller to mute that s***. f***ing annoying as hell.
  2. That ap is a joke.
  3. Yup. Not commanding pitches can lead to hits and runs.
  4. Oh. Let me ask you this. Do you need advanced defensive metrics to tell you that Pablow does not have range? Do those metrics tell you more than his five errors? His Fld% percentage is the one stat that in this case would be enough to surmise that he is defensively deficient. Whatever.
  5. Yup. Further it implies that those old timers do not have the ability to understand metrics. That is really dumb.
  6. They are dropping pinches of salt as an Italian chef does in an internet GIF.
  7. They were the best "new wave" band out of LA. I saw them in Boston at The Paradise.
  8. Fixed that for you.
  9. It did not cost the Sox ultimately, but Jesus f***ing Murphy Pablow booted a routine chance with two outs to extend the inning. If someone asked me to compile a tape of plays where Pablow proved he was not MLB ready my research could be concluded by looking at his last 4-6 appearances. Is Merrero not available? Did he run or hit while I was smoking or something? What in the actual f*** John boy? Try to use both neurons next time.
  10. She is dull and uninteresting.
  11. No reason at all except to say my team is good and your team is not. Just childish, really.
  12. Oye. Moon you are simply too kind to Pablow. Under no circumstances should you be planning on his plumtitude being on the Sox roster next year. He can not make plays at 3rd, is a shell of his slap hitting self at the plate, and is not exactly Lou Brock on the base paths. Now if by Devine Intervention Pablow starts pounding the ball with XBH galore and a high OBP I would consider keeping him on the roster through this year. The guy is done. It will be further embarrassment for the Sox FO to discharge this lump of goo and eat his $60. mil or so. But that will only be temporary. His presence is hurting this team. Keeping him is just f***ing stupid business. I say give him until the end of June to start playing well and producing. When he fails, cut him free.
  13. Yes the Yankees are a very improved team. Can you come up with an observation that is even more obvious?
  14. Trading Devers for a two month rental is bad math.
  15. So we probably see Merrero as defensive replacement as with Pablow? I guess that makes sense for this team now.
  16. Rutledge over Merrero. Hmmm.
  17. I am admittedly an unabashed Swihart fan. I think he has tremendous athletic talent. He is fast, has a sweet swing and a decent approach at the plate. I still believe that his talent should have been used at another position. Of course there are those here that say his bat does not play at 3rd or 1st. I do not agree. He has not been afforded sufficient opportunity to display power. He looked like a pretty good doubles hitter once he got going when called up early with the Hannigan injury two years ago. I think that the Sox have sort of flubbed his development. I no longer see him as a can't miss type of prospect. Not that his window has closed. The Sox have not decided to find a way for him to ascend. He will be traded sometime soon, I suspect.
  18. I think that would be a blast. I rarely have the opportunity to watch a game with another real fan.
  19. That is what I see too.
  20. Wow. That sounds like fun.
  21. But what does any of this have to do with having a drink?
  22. Thankfully you noticed that. That makes two of us.
